Would rather just get a piss-easy draw though. If we sail through to the quarters Wenger will have to take the competition seriously but he will continue to rest players next two rounds.

No point looking for piss easy fixtures......in the last few seasons those are the games which have seen us knocked out If we get an easy draw wenker will without doubt rotate in a big way and I'm not sure we are good enough to do that even now. Big draw and tougher opposition would force wenker to field almost full strength for fear of a fan backlash

I agree. Given that the Cup seems to be scheduled during the middle of difficult league and CL fixtures, I prefer an easier-looking home game than a tough away fixture - even though I know we have been knocked out before by inferior opposition. Like SteveO I want to see us genuinely try and win the cup this season and that should be easier to achieve with mainly Home games. Afterall, that's how Chelsea seem to have done it over the past few years.

Failing that,away to Rochdale,both Sheffield teams away or Huddersfield town away but knowing our luck we will get shitty or Chavs away.
