Chavski match thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chavski match thread.

Post by Chippy »

After yesterday and today this is a really difficult one to call. Or the Chavs are going to do us.

Hate this fixture especially with Mourinho back. As sure as night follows day, we'll have tons of possession, miss a couple of early chances and then they will hit us on the break

This game and the annual tummy tickle at Old Trafford.....used to love those 2 games but now they rarely go our way

A point would be a good result and would keep us in it just about, if we win our game in hand it would put us a point behind them in that scenario, with them having to go to Anfield. I just hope we put in a performance and don't roll up to have our bellies tickled as we have in the past. I hope we don't sit as deep as we did today and see more of the ball as their more potent attack would punish us where Spurs could have today. Also hope Ox is okay, apparently there was a worry about his calf when he came off, he will be very important as despite his miss today he was brilliant.

way too late - Wenger thinks we are back in the race :banghead:

FFS how many false dawns can you give the fans this season ?????

the result totally depends on the Manager - set us up like we did for Liverpool, Everton, Bayern II and we can beat an average chav side.

Set us up like Stoke and today. Eto'o will do us.

i'd like to think 2-0.

It would be nice to celebrate 1000th game with a win over Moureen (finally!)..
but I predict a draw.

No Ramires is massive, less so Willian. Sadly we are without 4 midfielders. Hopefully Galatasaray give them a game and are a little jaded come Saturday!
