World Cup 2014 Squads and Games

Post by QuartzGooner »

England squad to be announced 12 May.
I would definitely take Lallana and Sterling and if fit, Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Walcott and Townsend are ruled out through injury.

No idea if Wilshere will be fit?

Wonder if Flamini makes the French squad?

Quartz, I think maybe we should put this one in the Basement until the WC actually begins. Be nice to delay the inevitable xenophobia that blighted this forum during the last interlull tourny.

Just a thought... :rubchin:

tough break for walcott, but we should benefit hopefully.

Ox and Jack will go and breakdown in August again.

on a brighter note, at least Ivory Coast, Algeria and Cameroon made it to the tournament, so we can get a sneak peek at our new french african signings before next season starts.

I guess the real question FIFA and its corporate sponsors have is will Diaby make the French sqaud ?

Have Scotland, Wales, and Ireland announced the dates for their squads?

It could be worse. Us Americans are pinning our hopes on an attacking partnership of Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey.

Just seen that our saviour for 30 minutes Andros is out, droping like flys again.

That leaves Steve-me to trip up the steps on the way to collect the trophy :barscarf: :barscarf:

Sorry to stir things up, but arent the Welsh supporting the English team again this year :?:

stick all your dosh on Brazil,

England will be lucky to get out of the group, any team with Gerrard, Lampard, Carrick, Milner and Rooney is fucked. England will spend 90 minutes, chasing shadows in 100 degrees heat.
