Frey was two seasons, Joe Cole big on the Forum (err, Frank?) but not for a prolonged campaign, Trabelsi the honour of playing for us in a video game but just linked for two transfer windows, Benzema a "Now and Again" pot shot but never really in the running, and Mexes more of a low level atrittional linkage.
Kalou a good challenger though, he'll be linked with us until he retires!

In what could be one of the more surprising moves of Deadline Day, Manchester United and Real Madrid have discussed a potential loan deal for Javier Hernandez.

Hernandez joined the club from Guadalajara in 2010 and featured in two Premier League-title winning squads.

Falcao will be viewed as a risk by AW. £50m for a striker coming off the back of an ACL injury. Now if Madrid buy him they might need to sell Benzema and he definitely is an AW type signing. Wouldn't be surprised to see us sell Campbell either as looks like he doesn't fancy him.
