[POLL]: Who will win World Cup 2014?
Just want to see what Forum thinks.
Existing thread for discussion on squads and games etc.
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=37228&start=120
(Polls on this Forum are limited to 10 options, hence no possibles such as Uruguay, France, Italy or Ivory Coast included as options in their own right.)

Surely Italy are more likely to win than Belgium or Colombia though?

Shocked there's no Switzerland since they're 4 places above Belgium in the rankings

Spain. Forget all this tiki-taka is dead, it may not be everyone's cup of tea but make no mistake - Spain have an abundance of quality, almost unprecedented experience of recent success and vitally a squad who are very familiar with each other and how they play rather than a manager just picking a squad of individuals and putting 11 into an unfamiliar stock formation.

Don't think it will be a European team-never won in South America before-though there is always a first time for everything.
Voted for Argentina. Also Dzeko for outside bet on top goalscorer (worth a punt at 100/1 anyway!)

Germany.
My prediction: Ozil lights it up on the big stage and all his detractors (Arsenal and opposing fans/journalists, alike) realize just how talented he is. I then suspect we'll all be extremely thankful he plays for us and rival fans will be envious.

Tbh it's a pretty huge World Cup for him especially. If he has a poor one his confidence won't exactly be sky high. But if he dazzles on the world stage - as he is without a shadow of a doubt more than capable of doing - it will give him, the fans and everyone a massive buzz ahead of next season. I think he'll have a big tournament.VAVAVOOM 14 wrote:Germany.
