Alexis Alejandro Sánchez

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agree with everything that has been said. Sure, occasionally he hangs on to the ball a little too long but at least he is always looking to make something happen. Best of all, if he does lose possession, he works like the devil to try and get it back. Knew he was a superb talent but ever so impressed with his hunger and work-rate. 8) :barscarf:

This team is going places because we have him - end of. Even if we don't sign anyone, he'll lead us to the promised land. I believe in him.

Telegraph | Alexis has been given three weeks off & there is small chance of him being on the bench for the CS match against Chelsea.

Apparently in talks with the club to make him the highest paid player on the squad. It's only been 1.5 years, but I think we can all agree he deserves to be the highest paid player.

Real Madrid apparently offering €50m plus Cheyshev for him

I'm sure after our outstanding CL campaign, he defo won't be tempted.. :rubchin:

He may be, but am less concerned about this than other top players of ours that have left over the years. He's already won loads at Barca and presumably took the step down to Arsenal to be the main man (albeit still expecting to win trophies). He won't be the go to guy there, I'd be more concerned about the likes of City/Chelsea going after him.

it will always be on the cards if we don't win League titles or European Cups.

Lets face it, Sanchez is a world class player, he knows how good he is. He never got a good chance at Barca, but he has blossomed here. I doubt if Arsene pleads loyalty he'll take it too seriously, it's not like Arsene brought him into football.

Hopefully this place doesn't fall to pieces if the rumours keep coming. That's probably wishful thinking though.

With £200m in the bank for Wenger to spend on players, clearly we are now not a selling club. So Madrid can fuck right off.
