Re: Alexis Alejandro Sánchez
You could say hat about the whole team. We haven't really had one outstanding player.
The whole squad has been a disappoint. The addition of Cech i thought would of made the difference, clearly not. We are still in the same position of needing 3 or 4 decent First team players.
Not picking on Elney, but really!!! squad player at best. We need 4 outstanding World Class players, not additional squad players

Oddly enough, I was impressed with him today The way he started to knit our play together with positive, accurate passing was a joy to watch in the first half which, coupled with his movement, suggests to me he could be some player for us.Rosie_titters wrote:You could say hat about the whole team. At least you cant accuse him of not trying or not putting effort in - he is just making the wrong decision, passing poorly and is normally the one player who can pull out a wonder goal from nowhere, but it aint happening for him.markyp wrote:anybody else noticed that since his return weve gone off the boil, our best player makes us worse, says a lot about us doesn't it

Re: Alexis Alejandro Sánchez
He's probably fucking fed up and depressed at having to play under Wanker. I would be. He's come from playing with Messi and winning stuff to playing with Wankcott and Giroud and it's taken him a year to fully realise that he's wasting his time.

Re: Alexis Alejandro Sánchez
You can't say Lord Cuntio can't affect the form of players:
He took Arshavin, a guy voted top 10 ballon d'Or...turns him into a Russian Glenn Helder.
Takes Alexis Sanchez, manages to turn another top 10 ballon d'Or into the Chilean Stefan Schwarz.
He'll join Ozil on that Easyjet outta the Emirates

Re: Alexis Alejandro Sánchez
Sanchez and Ozil won't leave Arsenal in the summer because they're both on long contracts and we are absolutely fucking drowning in money.
So much hand-wringing

Hasn't ozil got just one more season left on his contract ? I thought I read a few months ago that they were trying to get him to sign a new deal cos he had just 18 months left on his current contract
I would almost bet everything I have (which is fcuk all ) on the fact that ozil will be off in the summer (probably to link up with ancelotti at Bayern) if wenker stays in charge, and there is a 50/50 chance that he will be going regardless because he see's a club with no ambition If he goes then we can expect sanchez to be screaming to get out

Re: Alexis Alejandro Sánchez
Contracts mean next to nothing these days, the value in players is so great you would rather sell an unhappy player who wants out than run down his contract and let him go for nothing.
I can honestly see Ozil and Sanchez going this summer if things don't change and the club will have to let them go for a price or lose everything on them.
Call it revisionism if you will but maybe the Ladyboy, Cashley, JVP and Cesc saw the writing on the wall long before most of us and made the correct decision for themselves and their careers.
I often think we are too quick to judge footballers as stupid but even if they aren't the brightest they usually have some pretty switched on people around them to point them in the right direction

Re: Alexis Alejandro Sánchez
surely the club won't let Ozil or Sanchez leave. Wenger and the rest of those dicks. Will need a police escort to get out of the ground.

Re: Alexis Alejandro Sánchez
If either of them kicked up a fuss we would sell them as long as we could get a decent price.
One thing Wenger cannot stand is anybody who won't toe the line and dance to his tune. Can anybody really see us standing up to a player like Liverpool did to Suarez?
