FANTASY FOOTBALL

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

More to the point, they have sanchez down as a winger - 1989 will be having a meltdown of record proportions

Good shout on Long. You might want to swap out Mertersacker and Özil for the opener, though.

I thought about Bony, but decided against him because I reckon Swansea could be in trouble this season.

Schürrle could be a good shout, but I don't think he'll play that regularly.

I can't see Guzan and Delaney scoring you many points...

Palace scored a lot of points from clean sheets once Pullis took over.

Guzan and Delaney got 127 and 117 points respectively last season.

Noted on the Germans - I selected them before that news was confirmed.

Schurrle's playing time might slip now that Chelsea have a solidified #1 striker but we'll see - that's why you play the game!

Holy f*ck. I thought there was no way that team would be below budget. It is by .5. Well done.

I'll probably enter too but like DB says, it is impossible to maintain interest and commitment over a full season. A few seasons ago our local club did a fantasy league until christmas and then did a new one for the rest of the season - it kept the interest levels high which of course extended the banter between the lads 8)

We run a league at work normally get about 30 guys fiver a head.Overall winner and runner up get cash prize ,then we have a manager of month where everyone pays €3 and again winner and runner up get cash prize, not a whole pile but keeps everyone interested.
