The Banner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Are they black bin liners over the seats? If so that's the Tuesday club podcast suggestion.
Would be easy (and cheap) to KO that protest.

I live in hope this is our "Three years of excuses and it's still crap...ta-ra Fergie." moment.

I know it's 6 years but given the success he had before that I think you can say it's similar to the 3 years Fergie had.

it looks top quality, SWL! great job mate, looks even better than i thought it would. i like the fact that it is respectful to wenger, and it still delivers the message. very good.

please do tell us what happens when you try to display it! :barscarf:

again, top work!

I'm sure this has probably already been covered, but I would definitely advise taking it to away games FIRST as there's no chance whatsoever of stewards confiscating it from you... although some gooners might :? at least that way it'll get a decent amount of exposure.

At a home game, they'll be on you in a flash.

I think it's important that you DO display it at the Grove, especially having notified the press as Mikey suggested, but perhaps away games first.

Anyway, ignore me... do what you want SWL, the flag's quality! 8)

This does feel a little like Lord of the Rings, and you trying to get that blasted ring into Mordor without Voldemorts henchmen noticing!  - God speed Harry! or was it Frodo? :?

We need to ring the newspapers and inform them we are holding this banner up.

Nick call me as i have a plan

Will do mate.

I would appreciate lads if you stop calling me by name on this thread though, as AFC monitor this place. Thanks.
So you made that point by quoting a post where someone said it!!

Got a link to the Tuesday Podcast that mentions bin liners?

Need to check dates to see who came up with the idea first :D

Yep, it should be respectful for all Wenger has done in the first half of his 15 year tenure

However, we should then do a banner for Gazidis like: "Fuck off you clueless yank *word censored*!!"

What point do you make when you expose yourself on public transport? That is what I'd like to know!

Banner looks excellent. Well done for getting this done SWL and good luck with the unveiling. The time has come for change.
