Hope game is on the Saturday...on the ticketing issue, how many times have we sat in the grove or even away grounds listening to opposition support singing "we support our local team" in some sort of sarcastic (attempted) jibe at Arsenal supporters. ? Well that is all fine for them but the reality of the support for these smaller clubs should be taken into account for games like semi finals and even finals. The stadium capacity and the average attendance of the competing clubs should play a part and if there is a big discrepancy between the two then the tickets should be allocated accordingly.

Reading have a capacity of 24,000 of which 2,500 is the away allocation. the away allocation can be almost doubled if demand requires. Their average home attendance for last season was 19,108. Based on those figures I would say an allocation of 25,000 for Reading would be more than generous. By contrast Arsenal's capacity and average attendance is obviously much higher so Arsenal's allocation should also be raised probably to nearer 50,000..I know for FA Cup Finals there are obligations to be met by the FA re tickets but for a semi final why is there only a combined allocation of 62,000 in a 90,000 seater stadium?

Club Wembley accounts for a large proportion of the remaining tickets, possibly in the region of 15000. Every club wembley member is entitled to a ticket for both the semi and final. It's not feasible to give Arsenal 50,000 tickets. The only reason we got that many last season was that wigan gave up a large proportion of their allocation. However, I think something like 40,0000 to us and 25,000 to reading would have been fairer. This would mean pretty much every season ticket holder is guaranteed a ticket.

How does the travel club work? Do they get one ticket or is the travel club and season ticket two separate things so they get two tickets?

This thread is worth keeping an eye on: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthre ... 83&page=87

Someone apparently rang up the BBC and BT  and they said not until after Liverpool v Blackburn replay. That would be a shambolic decision

That thread is almost as tedious as my quest to get a semi final ticket. At least we keep it short and to the point on here. With the exception or errr the wenger thread :D :D :D .

Was just about to say that myself, they shouldn't be getting the 31,500 never mind any extra

Ok I'm hearing some news with regards to FA CUP SEMI - it will be played 5.20pm on Saturday 18th April
a source within TV production who spoke to someone on the plane back from Monaco

Do the broadcasters really want it to clash with chelsea vs united?
