Monaco (A)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Monaco (A)

Post by clockender1 »

we travel more in hope rather than expectation.

Caz will start. chambers shouldn't - just too reckless going forward when our defensive organization is zero.

i have a funny feeling we'll start strong, get a goal by half time but get caught going for the 2nd.

2-1 win - Giroud and Ozil.

I think we will see too little too late from us, I think we will play better than the last game (it won't take much) but alas to no avail, sad really we had the easiest team to play and it seems we fooked it all up. However, football is a funny game and you never know.

We'll win 2-0. Typical Arsenal, heroic failure and all that. Just a fraction away from greatness, as always.

Yup, this is set up for a classic 2-0 win, a la Munich. 2-0 is 40/1, or an Arsenal/Barca double is 3.2. Free money! :barscarf:

Giroud is mates with Prince Albert of Monaco. He does charity work with him. He'll sort something out.

Probably the only way wenger will get past the last 16.

1 - 3 it'll go to extra-time and then we win on pens...either that or we'll just fuckk it up before the end of 90 minutes... :? :banghead:

"Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes his side can still knock Monaco out of the Champions League despite trailing 3-1 in their last-16 tie."

Hopefully nobody gets injured during this meaningless 90 minute borefest and we can forget the whole thing again and get back to the proper competitions
