FA Cup Semi Final v Reading

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't agree with this bollocks of giving your reserve keeper a game in the cup, especially at this stage. If you're putting out your best 10 outfield players why would you then choose to play your second choice keeper. Doesn't make any sense to me. If he costs us a win in this or the final with one of.his brain farts......

Try the Old Town Sports Bar in Puerto del Carmen fella. Watched the 2011 LC final there. Hope you have better luck!

It worked last season because Fabianski was playing better than Chesney.

I just can't get out of my mind though his blunder v Birmingham in the league cup final and I have this awful thought of Gerrard scoring the winning goal against him in the Cup final.

We may have to paper over the cracks

The list goes back to Cardiff 1927, football happened then too  but suppose if you have a history of cup wins like ours your bound to have some epic disasters on the way 8)

Ipswich ?
West Ham ?
Luton ?
Birmingham ?
Wigan ?
Hull ?

That's not the Arsenal way is it ? To be complacent about lesser teams.
Don't forget to add Swindon to the list. Of course football didn't exist before the premier league was formed.

If we don't win by 6 clear goals it will be a shocking result :barscarf:

Are we going to have to endure another of those awful Hillsborough "tributes"?

Or will they save that for the Final when... sorry, if Liverpool make it?

I think the Cup Final falls on the 30th anniversary of Heysel.

Not yet. Red sales end in 20 minutes so I'd expect attendance criteria to drop

Afraid not, about 20km away down the coast. Are you staying at a hotel?
