The FA Cup Final: The Arsenal v A.Villa

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Absolutely delighted it's Villa and not Liverpool. At least now the football can do the talking instead of having Stevie G mentioned every minute.

Sherwood will no doubt talk up his own genius which will be annoying but it's the lesser of 2 evils :barscarf:

from a purely football perspective, it makes us big favourites IF we turn up.

It's not us lot you need to be telling Bouldie, it's the smug arrogant bloke you sit next to.

Also tell him not to shoehorn Ramsey out wide where he is next to useless when we have Welbeck / Walcott (perhaps Ox back ?) who naturally play the role.

This in turn leaves the central stroking role to our only guy in the squad who can play the target man, win the ariel balls, hold the ball up, play the midfield runners in...........It ain't rocket science :banghead:

Right from the start of the season, I confidently predicted the FA Cup would be won by a team beginning with the letter A.

I still hold that view.

this sort of smugness makes my skincrawl, cos we really knocked Reading out of the park, and Brum and Bradford and Anderlecht. Villa have a lot of players running into form,Benteke,Delph and Agbon against Merts isn't a great prospect.we will have to play our socks off to win.
100% right mate, very dodgy game and anything is possible

Up there in my top 5 list of detestable fans behind the Murderers, the Vermin, the Chavs and the Plastic Mancs

40,000 pissed up Brummies singing "Ave you won the European Cup" - lets go and fucking do them and have the Red end at Wembley singing Tim Sherwood's a Gooner like when we beat those wankers from the Shitole last year

Don't worry, I'm sure they will quickly move on to telling us all what a shame it is Stevie G and Liverpool aren't in the final and how that would have been a perfect end to the season.

So....................
If Spurs finish 7th they will be relying on us to win the FA Cup in order for them to qualify for Europe..............

Good. Thursday night football will have the same poisonous effect on their season as it has 7 of the last 9 seasons.

Whilst I am over the parrot at not having the whole Stevie Gerrard wankfest ,garnished with celebrity scousers Tarby n Cilla, and a compliant Referee I think Villa will be a much harder team to beat .

We must not set up like we did yesterday or they will bugger us rudely .

That is all !

Cup final ballot here i come !
