So our French centre forward, that we are now paying 130k per week to, isn't classed as good enough to make the starting 11 ? No surprise of course but it again highlights the folly of paying the c.unt top quality wages when he doesn't justify them

Apart from the keeper it is the very same squad and players that we finished last season with - hardly grounds for optimism
Absolutely! BT commentators even mentioned it too. The only recognised number 9 in the squad and he can't even get on the pitch! £130k a week though, and wasn't picked for cup final either
I see Theo proving his wages too: one on one v JT, instead of running at him and using his pace, he makes a weak pass.
When you see how much better a play Ox is, it's absolute folly to pay Wankpot £140k a week!

Oxlade has genuine quality, strength, pace and a football brain. He's superior on the ball, not injury prone and has a thumping shot.
I ask again: why on earth would you waste so much money on Walcott??

Apart from the striker and DCM issue, after that Monaco game he should never eve have been picked again. Captain FFS what a farce!

Looking a bit weak defensively on the right when Ox goes forward as Merts isn't really backing Hector up, and getting a bit pissed with the number of times Merts is letting balls pass him and Kos is having to clear it, the guy is 6'6 ffs!

Good half so far though and quite enjoying the match, Ivanovic is a hacking :cussing: though number of times he's left his foot in on Santi is a joke

So far this half we're in that familiar annoying pattern where we're neither stringing together any attacks or defending purposefully. Loads of players just floating miles ahead of the ball :x

I think we try to be too cute at times with threaded balls, sometimes i'd just like to see someone smash the ball goalwards :D

Walcott was woeful. N now to see Giroud miss sitters... Surely a striker will come. :banghead:
