The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nobody is coming......

The only ones that are available are up for silly money, and as we know Wenger won't spend that, he just gets paid silly money

its not just Pogba its the other signings they've made and will continue to make, its ok taking the piss out of the Pogbas trillion dollar fee but if they win the league they wont care, meanwhile we sign nobody, the joke is on us

And we thought that things couldn't get much worse ....................

"Spurs have turned down a bid from Arsenal for striker Clinton Njie, says L'Equipe"

That's right folks........a striker that is so shit, that he is being sent out on loan by a club in dire need of strikers, and now we are being linked with him

There isn't even a sniff of a transfer story, not a sniff! And I haven't heard any soundbite from the fraudulent fuckwit about ISIS or Brexit or the price of apples in weeks. I wonder if the bastard has finally been sectioned and there's no one at the wheel of the good ship Arsenal?

It seems Mr. Magoo is most irate that city and Pep have come in for Bellerin. He's fucking dead right, the audacity of one club looking to buy a player off another club during the transfer window. Whatever next? Vulgar cheating bastards.

You'd think he'd be used to bending over for city at this stage mind and if we were to sell we'd end up in profit for the window which would make all our undies nice and sticky

Didn't he have a similar mini-hissy fit when citeh came in for LesbianHead Nasri and Club Foot Clichy.... and then fucking sold both to them anyway! :dancingbanana:

Hilariously, the message at the top of LesbianHead's wiki page is;

"Editing of this article by new or unregistered users is currently disabled due to vandalism."

Popular bloke is old KD Lang Features!

With both Clichy and Nasri Wengers hands were tied ,both were going to run out of their contracts so Gazidis sold them against Wengers wishes after checking with Kroenke .
The Nasri deal pissed Wenger off so badly he almost quit following as it did hot on the heels of the Fabregas debacle where Fabregas simply went on strike and forced Gazidis to sell him to Barca .
Wenger has power but when it comes to pure money, Gazidis can overule him of he gets permission from Stan !
With Nasri getting large sums of dosh for him with 1 year on the contractis was a great move business wise as was RVP .
Wenger got so pissed off witrh Gazidis aboutr this that he refused to take part in the transfer process ,and in any of the deals that saw arteta ,benayoun, bfg and park . Since then he has been all powerful and Gazidis has been sidelined !

Gazidis; “We’re doing it by being very, very disciplined; spending money where we believe it makes a difference, but also giving young players a chance and believing in ourselves and our values.”

Right. Just like the defenders of the Alamo "believed in themselves and their values" right up until they had their asses handed to them by the Mexicans.

And if that huge list on the Pet Project thread tells us anything it tells us that giving young players a chance should only ever be a minor or secondary approach to recruiting first team players as it does not fucking work 99% of the time. :|

Yep, that's right! I'm not saying we should go out and spend Just because of the great Joy of shopping (like I do in Football Manager) but we should address the key areas where we are still short - DM, CB and striker. Meh, I'm so fucking tired of this same shit. What's the point to say these same things what most people in here have said already years ago. :banghead:
