As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Just heard about this, awful news. Sounds like a top lad and a top gooner, if there is any crumb of comfort, however small, it's that at least he died doing something he was so passionate about, supporting the arsenal. My thoughts are with his family and friends, RIP
Sad news. Actually, remember sitting next to him at Wigan away league cup semi final 2006. Was a astounded, and somewhat jealous when he told me that he would go to all Arsenal games, including reserves and ladies. Also, learnt a life lesson from him that has stayed with me to this day. Arsenal through and through. RIP Ernie Crouch.
Such sad news. An absolute legend and a supporter that puts us all to shame!
R.I.P. Ernie.
Condolences to your family and friends.
I hope that the Club pay the appropriate respects to someone to whom Arsenal meant a lot more than most of the people who "own" it.
RIP Ernie. He never missed a game home or away. The old man knows him well; said he "would've walked over hot coals to watch the Arsenal". Gone but never forgotten.
