c***s AKA the scum

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It wasn't literal and/or serious, obviously...

Ox has 20 assists his entire Arsenal career? Citation needed.

I know one stat that you will love, Ox for the entire 2015 = 0 Goals 0 Assists.
Mate if you are going to fire off stats to a bloke who comes on here like he's applying for a job with Opta you should make sure they're right first

Pochettino has TOF's number (who doesn't?), so the scum will be a concern for the time being.

Until they sack Pochettino, or find another way to self-implode :barscarf:

It'll be fun to hear them bang on about the virtual fourth place trophy that that have been taking the piss out of us for the last 10 years.
thats ridiculous. no true gooner should ever say such things.

if they get 4th it will help them no end in funding the currently unfundable stadium and getting some mug to pay the naming rights that they are struggling big time to sell.

they havent been taking the piss out of us fr 4th as its their ultimate goal.

getting CL for chelsea, mousers, and united will make little difference to them, they will spend big regardless, even the mousers with klopp needing to reshape. for the scum it is absolutely key to everything that the cretin levy and tax dodger lewis wants to do. not so much in the cash they get from qualifying, but in the exposure and attraction to sponsors (lets face it they have a far better marketing team than we do with their revenues from merchandise and sponsor being biger than it should for a club of their limited appeal/success) and attractiveness to funding the stadium.
That's a load of bollocks... as long as they finish below us, no true goner should give a toss where they finish. As for their marketing look at it like this, if they finish 4th and qualify for champions league how long would it be before their manager leaves for a bigger club? kane, lloris, eriksen and vertonghan will be on the established champions league club radar and I cant see any of them staying because 4th for them will only be temporary, not permanent and they will sell like we did to fund the stadium.

no its correct. i find it very odd that anyone would be happy for example us to come 1st and them 2nd, if they could choose to have one of the other mentioned clubs above the scum, leaving them in there pepetual cycle of not being a 'big' club
So, you find it odd that an Arsenal supporter would be happy to be champions and not worry about who comes second? That's odd what difference to us would it make if the spuds, scousers, mancs, city or chavs were runners up to us as champions? Of those 5 clubs the spuds are not a big club and having a bigger stadium will not make them a bigger club. Sunderland, Newcastle and villa have bigger stadiums than chelski and look at them. They are years behind us and the stadium will put them back even further. As long as they finish below us it doesn't really matter. The last time they threatened to win the league was 1987...the other 4 clubs and us have dominated the champions position since then, as well as dominating champions league position. They are not a permanant threat and will fade away long before we do.

That's the funny thing mate
Reading the papers with people saying spurs have there best chance of winning the title since 1987
When they were out the race in April with 9 games to go
Now I think a miss is as good as a mile but we have have been closer than that since we last won it in 07/08, 09/10, 10/11 and 13/14

Pochettino (despite the endless wankathon) burns his teams out, and any period of time without He's (not really) One of Our Own and they are f+++ed......I don't even think they will finish top 4 let alone some notion of a title challenge

Exactly.

Every fucking season on here we have this "it might be their year, don't write them off" bollocks. And every single year they self implode or just plain fail through being not good enough. They've had a lucky run this season but the minute that Harry the Slackjaw Fake Scummer gets injured or has the inevitable drop in form they are fucked. 8)

iv said it in the worst league thread and maybe back on here, they are dead on their feet in the final 20 mins of games (see everton and against us when we should have beaten them as they were so knackered). the same will happen season wise, with a 3rd or quarter to go, they will be exhausted given they only have one game plan, run run run, and chubby cheeked potchenno has no other tactics. add the fact there squad is paper thin in many positions (up front, centre back) and this will only speed up the tiredness as he cannot rotate.

its only because the big teams are having a collective clusterfuck of a season that scum are anywhere near top 4 anyway. if cesc hadn't mutineered against mourinho, the chavs would be comfortably ion the top 4, if Liverpool had got a proper in the summer rather than waiting they would be 5th at worst, and if lvg wasn't a complete twat united would be up there too with scum a distant 6th and ourselves struggling for top 4 as ever.

they have remained as they were, some of the big clubs have for various reasons got worse and they are simply occupying that space by default effectively.

I found it funny in the times that tony cascarino said that they were now a viable option for bale...

Spurs fans have always provided me with a stable line of belly laughs !
They are without doubt as deluded as the scousers and every year is going to be "their year" ,every Cup is their Cup(especially if the year ends in 1 ) and of course the endless predictions of power shift up the road comes out year after year !
Its especially great in their strongholds of Walthamstow, Chingford,Wood Green and Edmonton (none of them live in Tottenham) where they feel safe and whip each other up into a frenzy.
I normally go into these areas just b4 a new season and even lay a few bets on from time to time .
Its just too easy !

it always made me laugh in the 70s and 80s when they wheeled out the "we are the kings of the cup" or whatever other excuse they used because there team was never going to win the league in those days.

Our Lord Gooner in the sky doesn't like it when the scum start the season with no ambition like they did this season, it's no fun. So he's engineered a few points for them and now the deluded wankers are actually talking about a league challenge, which will make it all the sweeter when St.Totteringham's Day comes early.

Nothing makes me smile like a crying swamp-dweller.
