No mention of the 'stealth taxes' of silver memberships going up at around 10x the rate of inflation in recent years then !

Re: Arsenal Freeze prices for 2016-17
"It will be the seventh time in 11 seasons at Emirates Stadium that prices have been held flat, meaning the cost of season tickets has fallen around 19 per cent in real terms against inflation in that time."
It appears they're actually trying to spin 4 price increases in 11 seasons as a good thing.

The club hasn't relied on ticket sales for 20 years. It is nothing but sheer greed

Exactly, if the ticket price is frozen it will mean an increase in either the membership fees (pay for the privilege of buying tickets)SteveO 35 wrote:No mention of the 'stealth taxes' of silver memberships going up at around 10x the rate of inflation in recent years then !
or the exorbitant booking fees will be hiked higher still
Arsenal FC fucking over the fans since 2006

Why are they heralding this news? Reducing prices and membership should be celebrated especially in a year that each club gets about £60m each just by being in the premier league.

Agreed. The new tv deal kicks in next season which will mean that whoever finishes bottom will still earn more than any other team in Europe other than Barca or Madrid....and yet they let on like they're doing us a favour?Nos89 wrote:Why are they heralding this news? Does that mean that Wenker can stop holding his breath that all the other premier league clubs go bust and we win by default now ?Nos89 wrote:Why are they heralding this news? The phantom away ticket subsidy which is eaten up by the extortionate booking and admin fees.Tommy_Goon wrote:Wonder if they will subsidise away tickets even more? They should look at expanding the category C games, let's be honest why the f is sunderland a cat B?

Re: Arsenal Freeze prices for 2016-17
this would be ok if they got rid of category A prices which I think are ridiculous and unnecessary.
