Protest Saturday
Re: Protest Saturday
Where's everyone sitting this Saturday? - maybe if we can all coordinate and bring some scale and camera / media opportunities as one rather than everyone scattered around the Wenger Bowl - let me know your thoughts...
Re: Protest Saturday
'Ultimately, Arsene is ultimately accountable to the fans - they ultimately make judgment. If you are seeing the relationship between the fans and the manager break down over time that is unsustainable.'
Isn't this Gazidis basically saying, 'I can't sack him, only you - the supporters - can sack him.'
It's almost five years on from that quote too, when The Old Fraud should have been fucking sacked

"We have enough striking options"
"Aluminia is my No.1"
I've not looked up the exact quotes but I think the irony could be lethal.
"There are two transfer markets - one external and one internal"
"Captaincy is overplayed"
"I favour rotational leadership"
"If you are seeing the relationship between the fans and the manager break down over time that is unsustainable."
Are you talking from your own personal experience there buddy ?
Re: Protest Saturday
Short term? Mate your posts make no fukin sense. Wenger has been harming this club from before you'd even heard of Kroenke.Gunner Rob wrote:Stop being so blinkered about wanting Wenger out.armchair wrote:Good to see he has "proven us all wrong" eh?Gunner Rob wrote:I understand the reasoning for wanting to get rid of Wenger first but really you read that and you realise that Wenger is the least of our problems...
Change your sport mate fs.
I think it goes without saying everyone on here wants that, it's just that Wenger is a short term problem, Kroenke is a long term nightmare.
Re: Protest Saturday
Good luck to the protest on saturday but it will have minimal effect. In a months time the ST renewal forms will be sent out.Fans will renew even if Wenger stays and he will and we will be talking about the same shit again next season.Groundhog season never ends at Arsenal
We need the ground half empty every single game to get Wenger out not just meaningless end of season games. Its boycott or nothing
By the way will RedAction be bringing this banner

The main thing I take from that quote is that Gazidis likes the worst "ultimately"Sean wrote:'Ultimately, Arsene is ultimately accountable to the fans - they ultimately make judgment. If you are seeing the relationship between the fans and the manager break down over time that is unsustainable.'

Re: Protest Saturday
As others have said, the posters (while well intentioned) may be of limited impact. They're vaguely worded, small in size, and there is a real danger that the Sky cameras may choose to avoid them.
We therefore need to add a vocal dimension to the protest, with a simple, deadly chant that as many of those who agree can sing again and again throughout the match, irrespective of the score. I suggest (to the tune of "49, 49 undefeated)
"Au revoir, au revoir, Arsene Wenger
Au revoir, au revoir, we say
Au revoir, au revoir, Arsene Wenger
We'll be happy if you leave in May"
For the Villa game, "in May" can be changed to "today"
We need voices, as well as posters, to make this effective.......

I think tomorrow will be a protest of minimal impact, BUT it will get the ball rolling.
when it comes to the Villa game (after we have been destroyed by Man City) there will be all out revolt in the stadium

I've got a couple of mates going to this and they will hold up these banners but they are not really anti wenger, they do know it's time for change but think for that change to happen kronke must go.
Re: Protest Saturday

"There's a small group of people manipulating our supporters...that's all it is really"
.....he's right, unfortunately he doesn't own up to being one of them!!!

No, it's just been a let down for every woman (and the occasional man) that has had the misfortune of encountering it.....apparently!
