Re: TAKUMA ASUNA
Just seen it on S.S.N. I bet that the rest of the Premier League are quaking in their boots at our signing of a No-Mark from Japan.
It says it all about the Clubs ambition and intent. WENGER OUT!!!
Also Arteta has joined Citehs coaching staff

Re: TAKUMA ASUNA
Thought this might be a Lion King singalong thread!
I hope we've given him a 5-year deal on more than double what anybody else would pay him!

Yes five years on from the Park disaster we have another Asian shirt signing in Asuna....one for the future Wenker states, what a piss take.
The Mekon headed Gazidis will no doubt view this as another 'exciting piece of transfer news' like he stated when we signed Giroud and sold RVP a few weeks later back in 2012.

Hakuna Matata.
Re: TAKUMA ASUNA
Even his surname sounds like Arsenal in a Japanese accent.
Re: TAKUMA ASUNA
So this summer we have had the copa America with the best teams from south America, and we have had euro 16 with half the European national teams playing it, but yet we sign some unheard of player for japan - for years now wenger has financially propped up French football and now in recent years he has started doing his bit for Asian football This is just another version of jobs for the boys where he does his bit for the countries he has lived and worked in, but the end result is that we get another shit player draining our payroll

Wenker is unconfirmed as saying the following.... 'In the J league Asuna has netted 9 goals in 34 games a ratio matched by MOTD and England legend Gary Lineker at Grampus 8. Lineker who despite winning the golden boot at the WC 1986 and being prolific at all clubs he played for and international level found the J league a harder test of his striking skills,it is a serious, serious league'.
'4 goals in 18 games for the mighty Grampus 8 it is a league of super qualitee and this signing should send a marker down to anyone even thinking of breaking our stranglehold on a top 4 position and our ambition,we had big competition for him. I persuaded him that Birmingham and Hull are teams of his future ambition.Charlton and Fulham are already on the case to take him on loan...but would Barcelona loan Messi to us?I think not'.

Re: TAKUMA ASUNA
when was the last time an asian has done anything at Arsenal? just another ploy to garner more support in japan. *yawn*
Re: TAKUMA ASUNA
"Like Hazard, but with Walcott's pace".
At least it's not the other way round
Seriously no-one would mind about this signing if it came a week after Wenger signed a monster player to help us compete at the top. He's under pressure to deliver this summer, if not then the whole season is going to be the most toxic yet.
