One of my few punts over the last four days, one £10 free bet and one £10 cash bet on native river returning £105. Good Cheltenham for me mainly matched betting, made £500. Considering I am not a big racing fan just shows what can be done if you know what you are doing. Not sure I will have many bookie accounts for next year mind.

NFG, do you ever dabble in bad e/w races?, a few, i know do this and can make a right packet. Bit like you i made just under £500 quid over the 4 days matched betting. B365. Skybet, William Hill, Paddy Power and Sportnation made me a few quid in BOG and free bets. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Oh yeah, i agree your right about bookies and the term mug punters. I remember in my younger days i got chatting to a bloke and he told me the next time i walk in to a bookies. See if i can see any promotions regarding single bets. Of course i couldn't. Bookies advertise multiple bets like Accas, Lucky 15, 31 and Yankees. Just wish i discovered MB a few years back when there were more lucrative offers. :banghead:

Hi mate, when you say EW I assume you mean where the bookie pays out more places than the exchange? And if you back/lay ew bets you can effectively win both bets if the horse finishes in the extra place? This year for chelts not really tbh, the consensus amongst the groups I am in was that EW wasn’t as good as last year, mainly because the bookies were paying 1/5 for places rather than 1/4 which can make a big difference.

With regards to BOG there was a few odds on shots that I was hoping would drift but they didn’t. My biggest individual score was a rule 4 on storyteller which netted me £88 after my back/lay bet. Considering the back bet won over £900 you have to be disciplined enough not to punt!

For accas you can do some of the bookie promos which make the bet +ev with the bookie giving you a free bet if one of your selections lose. All the info for this is on profit accumulator including software that makes the process more straightforward. Pleased you took some money off those pesky bookmakers!

Think I shall try a little each way tickle on the 5.40 at Hexham, Bowie at 20/1 for 3 places or 18/1 for the 4 places...
Peru look a good bet at 12/5
