I once told Edu to "fuck off" on the phone. It was after our 2003 6-1 molesting of the Saints. The game where Pires got a hat trick and Pennant got a hat trick on his PL debut.

Half of us went back to the Cannon private drinking club near the Gunners bar and half of us went and hung around the players car park like bitches looking for autographs.....

My mate phoned me and said they just met Bergkamp and were now talking to Edu and he wanted to say hi. This guy with the fakest comedy Brazilian accent came on the phone and me thinking it's one of the lads acting the gash promptly told him to "fuck off". Repeatedly.

When the boys got back to the Cannon they were pissing themselves. It had been Edu and he had handed the phone back saying "I don't think your friend likes me".

They got some great photos that day with Bergkamp, Wenger and....... Edu.
Pity they didn't hand the phone to wenger instead.
It was 2003 man.... I still loved him.... as we all did - no matter what sid and augie try to tell you about "knowing the truth about how shit Wenger was long before anyone else even back when he was winning doubles and going a whole season unbeaten in the PL etc etc....."

:D

Around 2007/2008 is when I started to turn against him - check my early posts
I would rather stick hot blunt pins in my eyes, than read your 'early posts'
This, coming from a poster who started a thread about making you a Mod back in 2012

Interesting snippet from Football London:

The Los Angeles Rams, the NFL franchise run by Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke, have been ordered to pay up to £18.8million ($24m) to supporters in St. Louis, the former home of the team.

Personal seat licence holders in St. Louis had filed a class action lawsuit against the Rams after purchasing the rights to their tickets at their stadium, known as The Dome, for 30 years.

The lawsuit called for seat licence holders to receive 30% of their original purchase price and a refund for the nine years in which the Rams did not play in St. Louis, as well as damages.

American sport is a complete fucking joke. If ever there was a sport-related term that was conceived by and for cùnts it's the term "franchise". :censored:

The hype about Zaha and Dick apparently appealing to the board to sign him got me thinking

I don't really undertand how wiggy or whoever has managed to convince the likes of Dick, Sanllehi, Edu? that a club of the stature of Arsenal is going to go forwards with any degree of success under the self sustaining model. Have these people come to us safe in the knowledge that they can nick a living off us for a few years. Then they can piss off and tell their new employer that they worked at the Arsenal which was a great experience at a once great club but they had a dick head owner who didn't understand football. They might not word it exactly like that but that will be the message and it will be accepted by many others in football.

I can't help but feel cheated that these people with footballing CVs are prepared to buy into this crap.

Well we can only look at Gazidis as an example, he was an appalling low life individual, full of lies and deceit reminds me of Tony Blair

I don't see how you can moan though.
after all you clearly said on another thread that you would buy a season ticket no matter what.

that's fair enough, your decision. but you can't really then moan about the lack of ambition at the club.

Gazidis and Blair are indeed a right pair of wan.kers if ever there was. But I don't regard Gazidis as a football person in any way shape or form. My point was that people who are regarded as football folk are prepared to potentially stain their CV by passing through a wiggy led Arsenal. I don't have any choice in who I support so I have to put up with the wiggy cu.nt but being associated with him can't do any of them any good.

Everything we all ready know broken down nicely with pretty coloured graphs, bells and whistles. The previous loss was happily covered up by player transfer income but we're running out of options to flog players.

Gazidis and wenker are the biggest pair of cu.nts to ever run our club and we have to throw wiggy into the mix because he's supposed to be a businessman and while he hasn't a clue about football he bought into this pair of clowns bigtime.

Letting players go for fuck all, a mental pay rise for ozil and generally pissing our money up against the wall - brilliant.

Of particular note is the assessment of current players - there aren't an awful lot of hits in there.

Next year will be interesting as our lot studiously ignore spurs as they breeeze past us financially - compared to Levy our current board haven't a fucking clue...they're not even close.

So as we've discussed - the Adidas deal covers losses for a few years and the emirates deal provides the summer transfer fund. A slow downward spiral which will get quicker as the big 5 pull away - unless wiggy spends some money. If he invests now then we have half a chance of chasing down a top four finish and getting back amongst the CL money but if he doesn't then we all know where we are headed.

This is why I get so pissed when people focus too much on SFB and Ivan the terrible, ignorance is no excuse, wiggy having no interest is not just 'oh well it's not his thing', he bought into Arsenal FC - one of the most famous football clubs in the world, seeing it as some sort of side-show investment opportunity and 'leaving it to others' is simply not good enough.

He has caused all this s**t with his total lack of focus and sending his spoilt brat son over to finally notice Ivan and Arsene were Laurel and Hardy is far too little, far too late.

Anyway the club is dead until the Kroenke's leave, which isn't likely, so don't even bother getting too interested in what happens is my advice, a bit like the Kroenke's ironically..

As for Wenger last few years ran the place like a fucking charity, pontificating on every subject and with the ludicrous socialist wage structure...WANKER

Gazidis slime scum, would sell his mother if he could get away with it....

But the problem is that he's got so much money that he doesn't actually have to give a shit. Those that sold the club on to him have to carry much of the blame. If he sold the club tomorrow for it's value of £1.8bn then he pockets nearly a billion in profit. He's going nowhere in a hurry.

Yeah which is why I say take a very limited interest (if you must!) in the club because it's going to be painful viewing. If Kroenke was really smart he'd be thinking of selling soon because if we continue the decline, the value of the club will begin to drop, probably quite slowly but still, sadly I don't think he is that smart, or may actually think Raul and co. can work a miracle (lol).

The value of the club has risen largely based on two factors - CL football (gone) and rising TV money, which I think has plateaued now, if we continue to drop further back from the 'big 6' let alone the top 4 then the value of the club is very likely to begin to fall in the near future, I wish I was Kroenke's advisor - "SELL, SELL, SELL".

Oh and also for those oafs that claim Kroenke can't do anything and try to absolve him of blame for some very odd reason, have a read of the below:
