The Pullis/FatSam/Pardew Shit Managers Merry-Go-Round

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hughes sacked by Saints (again?).

Cue 'Arry oiling the window on his Land Rover and Fat Sam quaffing a pint of wine in anticipation....

The shit managers' merry go round goes round and round and round....
How many clubs has Hughes managed and has he left any of them under his own free will ?
Only certainity is he will turn up at some other club and continue the merry go round.
Crazy world of P.L. Think the wrong manager was acked from the 2-2 draw..

Pardew is on the Chairmen's speed dial..

Do you think at some point in the future when all these shit managers retire, someone will organise a dinner for them a bit like a legends dinner but the opposite of legends? Kind of a shit managers dinner?

:rubchin:

I hope so. 8)

They should have the coaching badges revoked. they prey on young managers, and scared owners to get jobs.

They are like shit covered vultures drunkenly circling around the dying careers of other managers, fucking drooling all over themselves at the thought of stealing another chunk of cash from the game before inevitably getting sacked a year later and going back into the circling mess of dirty shit covered vultures until the next one of their number gets sacked.... entitled cùnts that are not entitled to steal a living but somehow do.

Southampton have appointed Ralph Hasenhüttl, great move from them. Quality, progressive manager.

He could have managed Celtic for decades, he will be sacked in 18 months I predict.

Beat me to it, but I reckon he might be gone sooner.

Just goes to show the myth of the idea that "Celtic and Rangers are huge clubs that would be top 6 sides in the PL".

Are they fuck and would they fuck.

Celtic manager drops them like boiled shit to grab ANY PL job. Even fucking Leicester with its pit of entitled vipers playing squad.

Anyone on Twitter should follow the Deluded Brendan account, it's hilarious.
Always felt Rodgers was a spoofer who got lucky with Liverpool in 2013/14 but ultimately luck was never going to be enough.

I still 100% believe that give them a few seasons in the English premiership and both of them would def be top 8 and maybe top 6 - it is too easy for people to dismiss both Glasgow clubs as they are now, but you are comparing them with premiership clubs who in one month would earn as much as they do for a full season in Scotland. Unlike the nfl (a far more competitive sport imo), football is all about money these days, and money brings power - these clubs have massive, massive fanbases and with the premier league tv money, and their self generated income (tickets, merchandise etc), they would be competitive clubs in England for sure.
I understand why people dismiss both Glasgow clubs cos of the sectarian bullshit, and the fact they have basically dominated a 2 team league for decades. What I don't agree with is the belittling of them cos their managers and players up sticks and move down to England as soon as more money is waved in front of them - haven't we (Arsenal FC) lost many players for that same reason over the years ? In a lot of cases players and managers follow the money, and in most cases players and managers go to a club where they can challenge for the big prizes - Scottish football ticks neither boxes and that is the reality, but because it is in a commercial back water, it doesn't mean that the 2 Glasgow clubs are not huge clubs. Like I have already said, money is the only reason why those 2 clubs have fallen so far behind clubs for more lucrative leagues, and a decade of sky premier league tv money, would almost certainly have celtic in the top 7 (leaving rangers out of this equation cos they are further behind at the mo due to financial difficulties), and pushing hard for top 6
