Luke Shaw - Worth a punt in the summer?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

One overrated, overpaid and overhyped full back is enough for me thanks.

It’s an embarrassment the way that successive managers have taken public swipes at him but it’s hard not to think that there’s something to it with his attitude.
Agreed. There are a few standard truths in football and one is no smoke without fire. Why would this tubby fucker be singled out for constant criticism by his managers unless there was an underlying attitude problem or a problem/issue of some description? Why him? Why not a few other players too? So for me the issue is not the manager but the player (even if the manager is a total arsehole like Moron-hio).

We have enough average defenders with weak characters at he club. Why add another one and piss away another 100k a week?

Fuck him. Leave him to his future decent down through the leagues on his way to his target weight of 20 stone and his future of propping up the counter in his local paddy powers, breakfast roll in hand....

And in a stunning coincidence Luke Shaw will probably end up a washed up junkie selling hand shandies to old dudes in the local Lidl car park.

No one knows what happened to Hlebby. He just stopped posting. I've tried contacting him through a few different sources but nada. I have a theory but it's too depressing to post here tbh. Just hope he's ok. :|

I'd go for Danny rose as a new left back, yes he's a proper annoying moaning *word censored* but he's a decent player who is unhappy at the wages he's on at those *word censored*
