Liverpool have 6 European Cups now.
Only another 90 to go before they’ve got one for each of their own fans they’ve murdered.

I'm more relieved than happy ,I actually found myself watching the second half and I NEVER watch them.
Liverpool were absolutely crap and any half decent team would have beaten them but thank god they didn't !
As soon as the final whistle went it was off with the TV I couldn't even gloat at the god forbids crying !

Let the rebuilding of Arsenal begin !
Strangely, that was my exact same emotion.

Extremely distasteful comment. Its fuck arse comments like this that make the football Gods continually deny us glory in the Europe and give it to them.

Whilst I do agree with you, if the Gods of football are denying us something in Europe and allowing the bindippers to win stuff even after Heysel, are we not entirely sure they have us confused with them?

“I know what that meant to the Arsenal fans out there. [The win] was massive for us at Liverpool but ‘Once a Gooner always a Gooner’ that’s what they say." - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Oh great cheers for that Clash...
STEVE??!!!!!!!! HELP ME
Have a drink on me pal. Never in doubt !
Cheque’s in the post for counselling fees!
Life can get back to normal now. No point people saying ‘I told you so’, hundreds of examples of games turning out differently than predicted over the years and in a shit final like that anything can happen.
Not happy just relieved...for the time being until it all starts again in August!
Have a good summer boys and girls
Enjoy the summer pal......remember Spurs will always be Spurs! Just when everyone thought "Spursy" had disappeared along came agent Kane with the worst outfield stats of anyone on the pitch and they managed their first shot on goal on 70 minutes.....whoopee doo :D

In our shitest of shite states we've reached 5 recent finals and won 3

In their most glorious era of the same period they've reached 1 and lost 1

Uncle SteveO's counselling will resume service again in August :D

Didnt watch it but a mate told me it was a shit final.

Sounds like the perfect outcome. Spurs lose, the english media cant ***** themselves into oblivion about how great the PL is and podgy potch is still potless. The fat fuck!
Didn’t watch it either, simply couldn’t bring myself to - spent the evening drinkI got beer, then rum and only looked on here long after the whistle and could go to bed a happy man 🍺🥃 :barscarf:

Think podgytino May well depart these shores in the summer.
His stock with the tiny tots will never be higher than it is right now, so with one or two players probably going to win trophies (Eriksen) elsewhere, it would make sense for him to go too.

I was sent this wee piece about the scum. I dunno who wrote it so can't give a credit. it's a great read

No league title in 58 seasons
No FA Cup success in 28 seasons
Over 11 years without any sort of trophy
Tottenham’s continual portal of themselves as one of English footballs elite clubs is no more than a fraudulent claim.
They are an average sized club who have not seen any real success for decades. 1 League Cup this century only 2 in 27 years is not the sign of a successful, elite club.
The media continually use the phrase Big 6 to describe Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham. It is supposed to be an all encompassing phrase, grouping the teams as one, raising them above anything else in English football.

But the phrase is odd, because why are Tottenham actually in the Big 6?
They have no recent success whatsoever to boast about. They are the only side in Big 6 to have not won a trophy in the last 11 years. The fact that the media highlight the likes of Arsenal for not winning trophies, but defend Spurs lack of silverware shows that they do not see Arsenal and Tottenham as equals.
When it comes to league titles, Tottenham are 15th in the list of most wins. They are behind the likes of Everton, Aston Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds, Wolves, Huddersfield and Blackburn.
The year before their second and last league title, Burnley won their second title. The year before that, Wolves won their 3rd.
Currently they sit on the same amount of league titles as Preston North End, Derby, Burnley and Portsmouth.
And yet they position themselves as equals to Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool – who have 51 league titles between them; and Manchester City and Chelsea who have won 9 of the last 15.
They have neither of the historic success, or recent success, to call themselves an elite club.
But they have finished top 6 consistently over the last 10 years. Well done. But just because you finish in the top 6, does not put you on par with the other 5 sides.
We have already seen how far they lag behind in terms of silverware, but lets also look at the other barometer of success the media often use. Finishing top 4 and making the Champions League.
Tottenham have qualified for the Champions League just 5 times in their history.

In fairness IW8, you missed these gems which they include on their official website honours list;
Norwich Charity Cup Winners 1919-20.
Norwich Hospital Charity Cup Winners 1946-47,
1949-50 (joint).
Ipswich Hospital Charity Cup Winners 1951-52 (joint).

I love how the media has redefined success to the point that no matter what happened on Saturday,Pochettino was going to be seen as a great manager. He lost so we get the "he has done a phenomenal job". Mr won fuck all has yet to be called out and even when he wins nothing next season, he still won't be.

What a surprise! Turns out the Scouser who went missing in Madrid, and who’s dad launched a Social Media appeal, was in fact arrested for a public disorder offence. What a surprise! The local nick should have been the first place to check!

Yaya Sanogo still has more winners medals than Harry Kane.
