Any truth to the rumor that The George will close following our last home match against Burnley?

All the half decent pubs with character seem to be dropping like flies these days. Did see that the Bank is undergoing an upgrade to its beer garden which hopefully will turn out well.

The closing of pubs has been going on since the nineties where asset stripping made bundles of cash for the Brewers...
There is just no demand for pubs, now it stretches to retail, the latest being Toysrust.

Home brew supermarkets Internet and Sky TV is the way Modern Man (Snowflake Generation) is going.....
