Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Everything is pretty much agreed upon and nobody is likely to hijack it either due to his injury concerns so this will rage on till deadline day if we want it to. Would just end up wasting money on a couple of weeks of his wages while he rehabs anyway if we get him earlier.Jock Gooner wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 1:09 pmTierney still on.........

From what I know (prior to pepe deal) European clubs are more open to a structured payment schedule simply cos that is how it is done over there - I dunno if it is down to the perceived wealth of the clubs, but in England clubs expect most if not all the transfer fee paid up front

FFS they are doing wonders with stretching that £45 million transfer budget.....augie wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 3:02 pmJock Gooner wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 2:57 pmFfs never a dull moment eh. £55M for a 20 year old...........Tarkowski is £40MSydneyGooner wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 2:34 pmAccording to Bild we've just had a £55m bid rejected for Dayot Upamecano.

"Upamecano has an exit clause of €100m, which is set to drop to €80m, and his contract with RB Leipzig lasts until June 2021."SydneyGooner wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 2:34 pmAccording to Bild we've just had a £55m bid rejected for Dayot Upamecano.
So good old Arsenal offer €60m. Are you sure Wenger isn't still there?

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Could it be that wiggy jnr will load up the club with structured debt to get it back into CL positions then sell it to a buyer who doesn't care
(like man city level wealthy owners)
We have a rich history and are best placed for a super rich boyout.
80 million even over 4 years has smashed our transfer record
And if you include ozil gives us a £200 million + attack line .
I think that martelini fella is going to be very good signing as well.
Crazy that we don't try and get a CB and LB though .
It's like we have a Porsche 911 turbo in the front welded to a shopping trolly at the back, and expect it to be fine.

The Mirror say #Arsenal are still interested in Kieran Tierney & could even end up trying to broker a deal which would see the Scottish international joining in January. https://t.co/xOlXewqHs5
