ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Arteta on transfers:

“We are in the market, the club is trying to facilitate one or two bodies with the resources we have.”

Why the fuck have Inter paid 17 million to the scum for Eriksen when they could have gotten him for free in the summer?

And why the fuck would Eriksen go now rather than wait until the end of the season and trouser all the money from the transfer himself?

And if it is possible to get some sort of fee for a player in the last days of his contract how come we let so many walk out the door for nothing on recent years :banghead:

I'd say he's leaving to get away from the walking disaster that is Moron-hio.

And the reason we are shit in the contract area is we have no proper leadership and oversight at the top. Our new "contract team" or whatever the fuck they call themselves are no better.

90% of the problems we have are directly or indirectly traceable back to the fact we are owned by a disinterested cùnt business man that can't delegate effectively and isn't involved enough to counter that inability to delegate effectively. :censored:

Arsenal agree deal with Flamengo to sign 26y Spaniard Pablo Mari on loan + option to buy. Fulfils Arteta request for left-footed centre-back. #AFC could make 1 more loan signing before deadline. Indication is Mustafi has ankle sprain so not as serious as 1st feared @TheAthleticUk

I know where you're coming from but no player runs his contract down to the final 3 months and then doesn't go on a Bosman. 17 million for a guy who's free in 3 months time is bizarre and make zero sense.

Maybe he senses that the tart is waiting to get half his signing on fee in a divorce settlement ? If you had his wealth, would you sacrifice a few thousand per week knowing that this slag was going to lose out too ? :rubchin:

Not top quality I agree, but we need a right back and he is an international right back at a low cost
