Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have been in touch with Gabriel's representatives today. Lille centre back available for £22m. Arsenal favourites to sign him. Napoli trying to convince him to join them with last minute offer
Really can't see how we are favourites.

This transfer is looking like the long haul type

IF, and I know that it is still only an if, but IF he had a medical today, then surely barring a medical issue we have our man ? :? Fcuk it we signed a guy with a broken back once, and last January we signed a guy for £4m who wasnt fit for another 6 months, so we will probably sign him even if there is a medical issue

Lyon expect to sell Houssem Aouar this summer, according to L'Equipe, but only offer they've received so far has come from #Arsenal. Arteta a big fan, Edu in contact with Lyon sporting director Juninho. Lyon haven't responded to offer of € & Guendouzi. #MCFC #Juventus also keen

Newspaper suggests Lyon would have been ok with €40m, but now hope Aouar's price will be closer to €60m following recent Champions League displays

Now this guy is a real, real baller - he would be an excellent signing imo

We tend to sign the injured ones only in the January window so if this guy is fit we'll knobble him during a training session so he can sit on the bench for a while.

If this transfer goes through, then it had better prove to be a great signing for AFC - when you buy two absolute duds (klingon and pepe) from the one club and neither works out, then buying a 3rd flop should be enough to see the club never buy from lille again

Well if the stories are true it's looking like he's away to the mancs

They’ll announce Gabriel followed by the Auba contract extension and then, amongst the euphoria, the fire sale will start - AMN, Sokrites, Laca, Torreira, Mustafi (if he’ll pass a medical) and one of Chambers/Holding I reckon....and that’s just for starters.

This would be a bloody fantastic summer just to get rid of about 6 pieces of dead shit.....they don't even qualify as wood!! Mustafi, Sokrates, Holding, Chambers, Elneny, Mkhitarian and the cherry on top of the icing on the lovely cake would be Xhaka getting fucked off. :barscarf: (No chance of that happening unfortunately).

According to @DiMarzio, provided Manchester United don't make an offer, Gabriel could complete his move to #Arsenal tomorrow morning. https://t.co/fjA6Tr2hrN

Signing Gabriel doesn't really excite me as I don't know enough about him, apart from the fact he is Brazillian and his agent is Kia Joorchabian. Ther are too many defenders at the club, more than GG had and I'm sure he once fielded a team with 7 defenders starting as there were no other players available. We could have a starting line up of Martinez, Bellerin, Saliba, Mari, Gabriel, Tierney, Mustafi, Luiz, and Chambers, with Auba and Pepe up front.
I also think we should sign up Foster from Watford and sell Leno, as I'd go with Martinez as the number 1.
