ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I do feel for Jack but then he's been paid very well for his ruined body !
If he was to go to a club that simply paid him when fit he wouldn't have a problem but he's on 100 k a week a cool 5.2 million smackers per annum !
He was on similar at Arsenal in his last four or 5 years so the boy is minted .
He could retire tomorrow and just count the cash !

Can't blame Wenger for Wilshere being a crock. Wilshere never looked after himself as well as he should have and the way he played he was always bound to pick up injuries. Fabregas and Rooney were both starting as 16-17 year olds and they both turned out half decent.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 7:39 pmIn two years' time, he'll be ambling about for Barnet or Stevenage or Colchester or Southend for twenty minutes once a month. It's not really his fault he was run into the ground as a 17 year old by a cûnt of a manager who basically abused him.

Wilshere was thrown in to a side and a position which was only going to lead to injury. He was played too much and expected to do a role which an experienced 25, 26, 27 year old would have struggled with. There were few experienced players around to show him the ropes and due to the manager's complete incompetence in the transfer market and ego-fuelled vanity youth project, he was run into the ground. He needed direction and help, he needed the risky, energetic, carrying the ball into danger side of his game coached out of him and sadly, the manager wasn't good enough to do that or negligent. Then there was the terrible training methods which exacerbated his injuries and which affected the entire team over a number of years. Wenger was handed a gem of a player, the next Scholes but through selfishness, negligence and incompetence, fucked him up. Fabregas and Rooney were different players, Cesc was a less direct player whose game relied more on using the ball rather than running with it and also needed less tactical help. Rooney played for Fergie and played for a team which was packed full of winners with experience who could guide him and cover him. He wasn't thrown into a creaking team of averageness and expected to run the show. He had Scholes, Keane, Giggs, Ferdinand, Vidic around him. We had Denilson and Song around for Wilshere. Rooney was also a very different physical build, playing a very different role, he got the ball played into him 90% of the time and had a shot. 90% of the time, Wilshere needed to win the ball back or create something or run at a player. Too much was asked of a 17 , 18 year old because the manager had fucked up the transfer policy, allowed too many experienced players to leave and had to keep playing Jack to justify his own arrogant project. Had he played under Fergie, Wilshere would have played a handful of games for the first two years and then had his playing time stepped up once players like Hargreaaves and Scholes and Ronaldo had moved on. He would also have won a fuck load more, captained England and probably had 75+ caps by now.SydneyGooner wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 1:08 pmCan't blame Wenger for Wilshere being a crock. Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
He had all the direction and help he needed Perry, some times genetics are a sportsmans undoing and Jacks leg shape is known to put more stress on ankles and knees especially in contact sport add that to the attributes and the desire that he has as a footballer and I doubt that who ever managed him would have been able to save him from his injurys
I watched him play from the age of 10 and even at that age his commitment and desire to win football matches was well above the norm and all through his teens he was the type of player who would play with an injury and tell the physio he was fine , with the wisdom of knowing what would happen to his ankles later on in his career im sure the academy coaches if they could manage him again would wrap him in cotton wool until he reached 16/17

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
sports scientists analysed Jacks performances a few years back - he is too slow to release the ball and he invites tackles and that is why he continually gets injured.
its not a physique thing, he is quite stocky, unlike Diaby who was a beanpole.
had that been coached out of him early on, he could of been successful despite the drinking and smoking.
but i suspect its more of a mental thing - just like Walcott couldn't finish when he had time to think about it.

Sports scientist
Coach him all you want
but those sports scientist would hopefully know enough about the game to realise that at some point Jack is going to be tackled or tackle and his ankle that he has badly sprained numerous times is going to be tested

The old French idiot signed countless duffers like Xhaka and yet was supposed to have watched players 100 times on video before buying them. And yet he bangs on about the stars that he nearly signed. So, wasn't convinced enough to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, but saw enough in Granit Xhaka.
Tells you all you need to know about the Fraud's abilities and the myth that he was a great spotter of talent. No wonder we're in such a mess.

Also, what is more important and factual is he has done an excellent job in just One Transfer window... Raul Sanllehi shows just how useless and incompetent wenger, gazidis and Prick law were...Jock Gooner wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 1:43 pmHerd wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 10:53 amRaul is buttering up the hacks to write nice things about him ,this piece is no exception . Journalists are lazy ,Raul probably gave the reporter the graphs !
Of course he conveniently forgets that just as we only pay per season ,other's do the same to us, it's the usual self promotion plus smoke and mirrors ,the only thing our club is good at !
The Jury is out and I'll judge him in May !
Can you really blame him. Wenker's PR approach was shit so if Raul wants to put a few hack's in his pocket to keep them onside then so be it. As for judging him in May, don't bother.....you can judge wiggy right now instead.

More charm offensive = more bullshit from our absent owners
https://www.skysports.com/transfer/news ... fer-market
They think that all the signings have hoodwinked the fans into believing that they are willing to spend big to achieve success, but the reality is that we still only spent around £45m and it was creative dealing from raul that allowed us to sign the players we did, and even any half intelligent supporter can recognise that If they wanna be "pro-active" then maybe they should put their hands into their own pockets to back the manager instead of having to mortgage our future to get players in now

Mustafi to Roma on Loan in the works hopefully!
Elneny to Turkey somewhere, Galatasury or so...Hopefully well done..
Room for Chambers to sub of the bench, maybe Start against any team OUTSIDE the new TOP 9
1)ManC
2)Liverpool
3)Chelsea
4)POO EMOJI
5)ARSENAL
6)ManU
7)Wolves
8)Leicester City ( Young ballers BALLING OUT!! Watch this space!, Leicester City goin be LIT this season)
