As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I know DB10 will probably ban me for this but I think we will seriously regret selling AMN
Tbh I don't think we will regret it. He'll have a career - he's not total dogshit - but it won't be at a top 6 club. He's lacking too much in his game.
Normally I would be hesitant to believe anything the papers say, but DB10 tells me that this publication is a bastion of integrity and if they say it, then it must be true

Aaron Ramsey - a guy that was lauded as world class by some deluded Gooners who wanted the club to pay him whatever he wanted, is now being fcuked out of juve after one fcuking year Injury prone all his time with us, and an odd touch of genius does not make him world class, but just wait and see how long it will take the modern football mong fans to start crying out for AFC to sign him again
Madrid changes their plan for Ceballos: they want him to return. The idea is that he joins the squad for pre-season. The disappointment of the UCL elimination has changed the plans for Odegaard and Ceballos. [@diarioas]

I dont dislike ceballos as such, but I do think that he is a bluffer at times - he runs around a lot appearing to be tackling opposition players, but the reality is that unless he can tackle them with his arms he doesnt want to know cos he doesnt like to put his foot in.

Need better than him in midfield imo
Not sure he can really show us what he is about whilst trying to baby sit Fannybulge, but I guess we'll never know

In fairness to the Welsh Messi-Lite he was the best attacking midfielder in the PL..... for about half a season. Either side of that half season of quality he ranged from average to complete gash. Mostly gash.

That reads a lot like Guendouzi too.
I think both could turn into cracking players though.
I have always liked chambers and wanted him to stay and do well for us, but I do wonder if the shipped has sailed for him and that he missed his chance at AFC. There have always been concerns about his pace (since the senile french cock hung him out to dry at swansea a few years back ), but he reads the game fairly well which sometimes can compensate for that, and he is good in the tackle. There is also a train of thought that suggests that he is better suited to a CDM role, but I doubt anyone gets into that role ahead of xhaka as long as arteta is in charge

Unfortunately that sounds like summary of any one of our playerds under achievers for the last 10 years in Ramseys case he never fully recovered from the ankle break , was coached by has been into playing tip tap ,and was surrounded by other fragile ego's !
When played in a role that suited him he played well ,especially for Wales where they used him to good effect much like Bendtner was used by Denmark !
Failure to make a mark in a team in modern football can often be that teams want fully flexible players that fit a system rather than playing a system that best suits the players you have.
This was one of the old frauds biggest failures, constantly banging those square pegs into round holes and recoiling in faux horror when it failed over and over and over again !!
Coquelin changing clubs from Valencia to join our ex-boss Dick at Villarreal.
Apparently his fee is half what we sold him for so there’s no tiny additional summer cash injection for us via a sell-on clause....
