Arsenal looking to offload Mohamed Elneny for £15m in January following Leicester City interest.

If Arsenal can flog Elneny, then they will use the funds to land Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals, as revealed by SunSport.

The 22-year-old has a £17.8million release clause in his contract which the Gunners are prepared to match.

All player signings will be balanced by a sale ,we will be operating a flat book policy from now in and the numbers will reduce to save money .
The Good News is that we have enough dross to do that ,the bad news is that Ramsey has realized that it's not in his interest to be sold in January
so he most likely will wait until he can leave for free.
Welbeck's career is all but finished but his contract is only until end term ,Kosielny though has one until 2020 so how we move him one is unclear ,nacho is out at last end season so there will be some room for maneuvers.
I can see us ditching either Lacazette or Aubamayang too as we look to balance things elsewhere, maybe get Giroud back on a free .

Can see this happening at all

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football ... mislintat/

Apart from the fact that the price tag is too high and he wouldnt fill a position of need, I also think that he is too slow for the fast paced premier league

Hope we sign a CB in January cause I really don't rate Mustafi. Would love Bailly here, he's Utd's best defender. Not sure about Cahill, but we're not at the development stage where we can afford to splash on the VVD/Koulibaly's of the world. When Klopp first arrived at Liverpool he bought the likes of Caulker in because it takes time to reach the VVD levels, so maybe the likes of Cahill will have to do for now.

Arsenal are weighing up a January move for promising young Legia Warsaw goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki.

The Gunners have been tracking the highly-rated 19-year-old for months and are thought to have sent more than one of the club’s backroom staff to watch Majecki since he broke into the Legia first team this year.

It is believed one of Arsenal’s goalkeeping coaches attended a recent Poland Under-20 match to assess Majecki’s suitability for the Premier League.

Standard Sport understands he is considered unsuitable as yet for the first team and any deal next month would in all probability see him loaned back to Legia immediately until the summer.

There is the possibility of a significant reshuffle in the goalkeeping department at the end of the season as it remains unclear whether Petr Cech will be offered an extension to his current contract which expires in May.

Bernd Leno has gradually claimed the number one spot following his £19.2million summer move from Bayer Leverkusen.

Cech started Wednesday's 2-0 Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat to Tottenham but that was his first outing since November 29 and the 36-year-old could be open to a move elsewhere if his playing time continues to be restricted.

Arsenal also have Emiliano Martinez on the books and although Emery has spoken positively about the 26-year-old at times this season, it would be a significant step to make him Leno’s back-up should Cech depart and Majecki become part of the first team group.

La Repubblica claims that Inter officials have met Aaron’s reps on Wednesday and reached a verbal agreement over his transfer. A salary of around €7m was mentioned.
According to the article:
There is already a verbal agreement for June but Spalletti needs him immediately next month when the market will officially open on the 3rd, ends on the 31st and Marotta will try to satisfy the coach.

If we can get around £15 million that would be decent.

I'd be happy with that, and especially if we used the money to sign someone like benitia from juve 8)

Maybe they are beginning to think that Leno isn't what they hoped?

He's only 19. Nothing more than a replacement for the pointless Martinez.

Yeah didn’t realise Martinez was as old as 26, clearly not going to make it with us so time for a replacement
