2018 Pre-season tour

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

2018 Pre-season tour

Post by clockender1 »

I know I'm dreaming here, but if the club wants to mend fences with the long term fans, they should have the tour in England this year.

whoever the new manager is I hope he has the strength NOT to let our lads be dragged off to Asia again. :banghead:

It's already been decided thanks to commercial commitments. It's all some nonsense. Wish we'd bin it all off, go back to Austria, prepare properly and have the odd friendly against St. Pauli or some side we weren't destined to face the season upcoming.

As of now, we stand to face Atletico Madrid, PSG and Chelsea next season. That's so horrendously boring.

Money ,money ,money . All games hoping to maximise income not to benefit the players development.

they are not interested in the English fans - they are more bothered about developing the brand in Asia

The usual pre season games that are absolutely boring.

Out of interest has anybody the dross that is the second and third away kits. They both look bloody horrendous.

Where's our yellow and blue kit. Let's bring that back PLEASE!

If we finish below Burnley, the tour is scrapped and we'll be playing in Luxembourg or the Faroe Islands in the 2nd qualifying round of the Thursday Night Cup

That's a slight disappointment, for me at least. I wish it was Man City. Oh well...

Anyone know anything about the Stockholm friendly?

I booked up for it when it was announced, looks like it may be cancelled though due to Chelsea playing in Charity Shield the following day.

Happy fcuking days :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

With the sizeable support of Arsenal over here, I can never understand why they dont tap in to this market and play games over here every couple of years. My only gripe of this game is that it is on at 8.05pm on a wednesday night and getting out of the aviva is a fcuking nightmare, so cos I live 60 miles away and I wont get home much before 1am  Myself the wife and the 2 kids will def want to go to that game 8)
