BURNLEY (6th place play off) HOME 6th May 16:30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ozil looks well :D
It's amazing what £300k a week for doing sweet FA can do. :?

This ! One of the main tasks of the new Manager - whomsoever he may be 8) - will be to get that so-and-so to perform, on a weekly basis, match to match. Not just turn up when he feels like it.

Frankly I think we made a huge error paying him what we have. But the die is cast now.

Kind of apt that he's carrying a screwed up flag with the old badge on it!

This wankfest is even more nauseating than I feared. One hour's time it will all be over and we can move on. I hope.

This is beyond embarrassing
Cringeworthy.

Yes as we all know the first 10 years were great, but since then as well know he has slipped further and further into failure, to the point where they had to push him because he still would not do the honourable thing.

All this ceremonial stuff and praise and singing TOOAW - still does not for me hide the FACT that he didn't leave of his own accord - He was made to leave.

Goodbye.

Now I just hope the new manager can rescue and re-establish the club - So we can have our Arsenal back!.

This is so true :barscarf:

I love Bob Wilson but his speech was over the top. Was there really any need to mention the George Weah thing?

Cant beleive they gave Wenger the unique gold Invincible trophy to keep either. That was a team effort and a club achievement.

And Wenger still had the look of a man who thinks having to leave is not justified.

Can't believe they've given him the golden trophy  that belongs to the club; kroenke and gazidis weren't even at the club at the time and have no right to give it away. Dreadful decision. :?

it's a replica though mate

although i can't blame you for thinking it was the original - i thought it was too at the time   , the one they gave wenger was much smaller. they offered him the no away points in 2018 trophy but he declined  :barscarf:

Values got a mention in his speech :barscarf:

On that subject I’m presuming he won’t trouser the 9 million quid for the remaining year of his contract and instead give it back to the club. That would be values right?
