Ozil out with a back spasm. It was a theme of last season. I don't understand why take him on a 12 hour return flight if he has a recent history of back problems. Anyone, who has suffered from reoccurring back problems know that something like that can trigger it off.
Apparently picking up £350k a week in cash plays havoc with your back 8)

German media do quick ancestry check to see which mixed race player they can scapegoat.

Germany. Successfully scapegoating minorities since the 1930s.

Too far?

Not a bit - I would be one of many that would have sold ozil on a long time ago (partially cos I dont think that he has fit into any formation we have played in the past few seasons), but I am still disgusted and angry at the way he has been scapegoated by a country and fa  They have an old (beyond aging) team that hasnt been properly freshened up for years, and it suits those arrogant players (like muller) to deflect away from their shit performances, by hanging ozil out to dry.
That being said, I still feel that ozil's meeting with a president with an appalling human rights record, was 100% wrong and to a degree brought some of this shit on himself

He's gone to work at the Daily Star as their new head football "writer".

Apparently at the job interview he could not tell the difference between a hypothetical arse and a hypothetical elbow and wasn't too sure what his own name was - and that clinched it for him! :D

https://www.skysports.com/football/news ... -criticism

What a shower of hypocritical german Nazi b..stards - they thought nothing of the rights of players or degrading a player when their own president was stabbing ozil in the back for the past few months  To call a press conference to attack journo's for belittling the service some Bayern players have given their country over the years, is truly outrageous when it was the same journo's that facilitated him and his attacks on ozil :censored:

As I keep saying, I am no ozil apologist by any means, but ozil's treatment in motherland germany ( ) has been disgraceful, and this only compounds it
