Anyone got a photo of 'Arsenal Remembers' graphic on big screens?
Did anyone who was at the Burnley game take a photo that they'd be happy to share with me of the 'Arsenal Remembers' graphic that was displayed on the big screens at half-time? It was in the shape of a cannon made from all the names of those poor Gooners who'd sadly passed away this year and had had a little tribute to them included in the 'Arsenal Remembers' section of a match programme. I ask because I wasn't at the game but the names included one of my relatives and I would really like to have a photo of the graphic to share with family members.

Surely the club could help with this.

'fraid not, I asked but neither of their photographers took any photos of it on one of the big screens.

This is only from the internet MB and not a photo of it on the screens in the ground so probably not what you were asking for ... it's also too small to see all the names. But maybe the name of your relative can be seen on there.
Its sad to see how many names are on there.

Thanks very much for that Clash. Yes, sadly it does seem like a lot of names but the club did send me the graphic as a .jpg and when you look closely at least some if not all of the names are there more than once. No idea why they did it like that, or why the different font sizes used made some names almost invisible while others are very prominent. My guess is the latter must have been corporate "fans".
I'd still like to get a copy of a photo of it on one of the big screens if anyone has one please. Meanwhile, please excuse my ignorance, but how do I insert that .jpg into a reply to share it with anyone else here who may be interested?

No probs mate....
1. save the photo online in something like Photobucket....
2. When you do that click on the photo you want to upload and there will be a series of links beside the picture. Just copy the one that says something like "IMG" or "for online forums" (then it wont be too big). In Photobucket you just left click into the "IMG" one and a little yellow bar says "copied"....
3. then open a post here as normal...
4. right click in the field where you'd normally type your post and select "paste"....
5. The image will appear as an address between these image codes [IMG][URL]. Then click on "preview" below your post to see if it worked ok.
Oh for future reference no porn, no burst hedgehogs, no animal porn (Dear Wayno, God bless him), no dick picks. But Tits and ass are fine.

Nice touch of class there I think, though agree all of us are equal on death so the names should be similar size, unless the larger ones paid for that

Tbh it looks like an aesthetic graphic requirement. If all the names were the same size the image would look bitty and hard to see that it contained actual names.Theoperator wrote: ↑Wed May 23, 2018 3:03 pmNice touch of class there I think, though agree all of us are equal on death so the names should be similar size, unless the larger ones paid for that
