The ONLY World Cup thread (merged)

Post by Nos89 »

I can only see it as a good thing that a lot of our players aren't going to playing at the world cup. Most will get a good pre-season in under new coaching staff, hopefully they can start the new season fresh and ready for the new era.

Can't ever remember a WC I was less interested in, it was a joke anyway that Russia got it, just like the joke that is the next one in Qatar, I am bored of PL football but international I really am done with, zzzzz.

Why is it a joke . ????
Russia have long been a force in world football unlike Japan Korea USA or South Africa for example.
Qatar fine thats a joke, but not Russia, they should have had it years ago.
Fifa is a corrupt entity always has been ,All holders give massive bribes .

I concur.

Lacazette, PEA and Mkhitaryan having a full training camp together bodes well for our top 4 trophy chances. :barscarf:

As it stands now only five of our players are going to Russia with all of them being squad fodder apart from Özil. The new manager has more or less the everyone available for the entirety of the preseason.

Those who threw their lot in with Wenger lost out...Mustafi, Kos (ok he's injured so who knows?) Wilshire, Lacazette.....And if Low did not know Ozil so well there is no way he would ever get in on his Arsenal performances....A new manager of Germany assessing Ozil would think "No way".
