Unai Emery

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Seeing the latest training video this morning i think our snowflakes are struggling to keep up with the pace

Keep it up 'Dick'
even PEA who I thought was one of the fitter ones :
A number of Arsenal players were visibly tired following some intense pre-season training, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shared how tough he is finding the grueling sessions on Twitter.

The Arsenal striker posted a photo of himself being propped up by Eddie Nketiah with the caption: 'Damn bro help me !!! I’m dead. Come on Auba still 10 more runs to go.'

this ain't no surprise tho :

Really cannot wait for the season to start and hopefully the scum players will have a World Cup hangover that will have them well off the pace by October

yep.

I think that's what he meant when he said we could have' five captains'. many took that literally, thinking we were going to the NFL style - a captain for each row - keeping, defence, midfield, forward line etc as well as a club captain, but I think he meant five strong, aggressive, committed, professional individuals who will lead the team on the pitch, in training and off the field.

its shape up or ship out time.

No Wenger No Walcott No Wilshere i cant wait for the new season and i havent felt like that for years. It may turn out to be a total disaster but i was bored with the predictable football under Wenger

Under Emery, Im predicting Bellerin to get back to his 2015 form, & Xhaka to become a top performer.

Limited. Blinkered. :D

Ozil has to start ahead of Mickey-tarrogan. Far superior player.

Unless he returns with flu and needs a rest. :D

the oirish mirror says Dick prefers 4-3-2-1.

I think Ozil should be dropped but Dick will have seen him perform in Spain and knows what he is capable of.

Torreira I'm not sure will be available so I think we'll see

______________Cech___________________
Bellerin-Sokratis-Holding- Kolasinac
____ Ramsay___Xhaka_______Nelson
_____Miti_____________Ozil_______
______________PEA_________________

Ramsay and Nelson are going to have to run their tits off. I suspect Caz and Welbeck will be competing with Miti for that slot and Dick won't blood chambers and Guendozi as starters until after the chavs match. having bought both Torreira and Guendozi it would be odd if he didn't play a 442 or 352.

its a bit shit that our next game isn't until the 26th though

Dick has had the back four practicing drills actually during the games against Crawley & Brentford.

I am more and more impressed with this guy.
