Unai Emery

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

very impressive start by the new boss!

what a pity that the club had to put up with a caretaker manager for the last decade.

l love Dick!

The man radiates positivity, addressed the problem we had for years, is not afraid to sub, drop big time Charlies, there is just more optimism round the place 10/10 from me.

I think he's doing very well so far but it's still early doors. He needs to be given a fair chance as he inherited a right pile of crap.

Haven’t seen much of Leno but he has made a few good saves last two games. Torreira looks a gem. Sokratis has been really solid to my mind. Guendouzi has done outstandingly well considering the level he was plucked from. Lichtsteiner is no nonsense and a winner. My only real complaint with his signings is that we haven’t seen enough of some of them.

Not getting carried away and we are miles from competing but I’m happy with how things are going.

Two goals on the counter today. When was the last time that happened?

It's all going well at the moment and I'm pleased that we're putting some wins together but to be fair we haven't had any tough opposition for ages. the real test will come when we play a decent team.

I’d rather we won playing average than lost having dominated games only to have brain farts...
No doubt we are still very much a work in progress, but tactical changes, substitutions at half time, giving instructions from the bench are all progress.

Can’t wait to see dick splashing out in January and further improving this team / squad
(yes dick splash was deliberate)
