I'm in agreement with the club for now.

yes Emery should probably go but i think he deserves to be given these next 4 "easy" league games to see if he can improve things.
at the end of the day he has had a bad month, it happens. his winning percentage at Arsenal is still pretty high.

hopefully now that the players have returned from injury, he will able to get some wins and then take that momentum into the Christmas fixtures.

Why should he deserve it?
because up until the last month I don't think he had done a bad job.
look at the utter mess Wenger left behind.

he steadied the club last season, would have got top 4 with a bit of luck and took us to a European final.
decent transfer window this summer, he just has not really got going though this season.

I think he deserves another month to properly integrate the players that have come back from injury.

Last week I asked Herd to bike me over some of the gear that was keeping him smiling. I've changed my mind, I want some of yours.....it's clearly as good as it gets !!

Seriously Rob, I don't want to knock your optimism, but I just can't see the foundation for it. It's the sort of stuff that the akb used to come out with. Along with SteveO, you're searching for stats and relying on "whataboutery"....certainly in SteveO's case, throwing in red herrings about the failures of other managers, especially so-called emerging management stars from Europe and detailing how other sides might have had duff results against teams we've struggled against....but no mention of the times those teams have been well beaten.

It's all akb style smokescreening. I don't give a damn about what manager has failed at whatever club....comparing the relative levels of failure doesn't really light my fire and nor do I care about the results of other teams, especially selective results, against sides we've played. I care about how the Arsenal are performing and I can make that judgement by watching what's happening on the pitch. At the moment, we're clueless, with no pattern, no structure, no coherent or consistent system, a total lack of leadership and inspiration and a manger that is floundering way out of his depth and becoming more desperately confused with each passing game, as well as very possibly having lost the dressing room.

This is totally unlike the Wenger situation. No one is enjoying seeing the poor sod struggle like this and in the main, there's no real animus towards the guy. The Club is a mess from the top down and that's the real issue, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be recognising that the manager is completely lost and unlikely to find his way back.

100 percent should go,

Have Soton H,Norwich A,,Brighton H,West Ham A coming up we are shocking at the moment and getting worse but if we can't get 10 points at least from those fixtures, well what excuse will the board have to stand by him.

I would add as well 12 league games in and we have not played well in any of those games over 90 mins.20 mins against the Spuds who are as bad as us,Burnley another decent 20 mins,Bournemouth fluked a win,Villa should have had a pen,Newcastle a class finish but a bang average performance.

The games we have lost we have deserved to it's going to be a long season chaps.

Bingo, Topside has made the point far more succinctly than I did. You just need to look at what's happening on the pitch, it tells you all you need to know. 12 games in and there isn't one match where anyone could say we played well. In fact, it's been largely awful and depressing to watch.

Don't think he's done a bad job  I'm a glass half full guy Rob, but you are taking it to the extreme, I don t hate the guy but he's clearly out of his depth, hes too conservative, sets us up to stop the other teams winning rather than setting us up to win, thts OK when we are playing the top sides but not against mid table teams, he played the most useless player I've ever seen at arsenal, and then allowed the players to vote the same useless player captain, his subs are completely baffling, defence is just as bad as wenger, absolutely no improvement, game at weekend we are 1 down makes no subs, then we go 2 down decides to bring on Pepe, against wolves it's 1-1 we need a goal he then takes off a fullback and replaces him with another fullback, that looked like to me he was happy enough just to take a draw at home.

Last few games of last season 1 more win would have seen us qualify for CL but we bottled it, europa league final was a joke, and you think he deserves to stay on to turn it around. I've seen nothing from him or the team which suggests he's going to turn it around. In saying all that I think the players have to take some responsibility, you could see on Sat once we went behind the players gave up.

The way we're playing none of those games are gimmes and this whole crap about giving him time is total bollocks, so for the optimists amongst us let's flip the coin, if we lose all 4 games we could be sat as low as 15th or 16th, what then, bring in fat Sam or someone who is a relegation battle specialist. If it would be difficult for us to get a replacement or for Freddie to take over now, how will it be if we only get 1 or 2 points from the next 4 games especially with the games coming up after those.

There is absolutely no sign of him turning things around or even basic improvement from the end of last season, so what does another 4 games matter there is no guarantee he'll improve and in fact it could get considerably worse :rubchin:

Big call from Raul and his rent boy to come out and back Emery, if it goes wrong and we continue to nose dive they better be ready for the flak incoming, trouble is yet again they just become shields for Kroenke, and the sh!t show just goes on, and on and on and...

It'll be lonely this Christmas..............

The media must be loving this paralysis at the Arsenal, in amongst the plaudits for the victims and citeh they can dip into our mess to take a few easy pot shots just for a laugh. We are an embarrassment.

I see Arseblog isn’t happy about being dismissed, by association, as ‘’noise’’ from the club

Poetic justice after all those years where he defended the indefensible and did nothing to back up the fans who wanted Wenger out. On the contrary he took the managers side.

Now he’s suddenly holding Emery to a totally different standard to Wenger - saying stuff like ‘’the board isn’t doing their job if they don’t get rid of him’’. And he’s wound up by being called ‘’noise’’. Hahaha

Maybe what he’s saying is right but where was this ruthless stance while our club rotted away for the past decade I wonder? Hope his site dies a slow death and he’s forced to to go back to a real job, the prick :censored:

They've done the big boy talking, if it all goes downhill (God forbid) and we do get worse, UE isn't going to be the only one to walk. His Spanish boys will also have to go. Fine, there is a lack of managers in the market, but surely there isn't a lack of competent and with a brain directors for goodness sake.

To be fair, I think Arseblog was calling for a change of manager at least 2 seasons before Wenger finally departed. Not as long as me and many others but it is understandable that younger fans like Arseblog, Gunnerblog and Stillman had a strong emotional attachment to the Frenchman as they grew into Arsenal knowing only Arsene.

Now its different. You fail you go. Emery has failed, he should go.

I’m 46 and I’m pretty sure Arseblog is older than me so he will have experienced as far back as the Terry Neill era at least.

Personally I think he defended Wenger and the regime way beyond what was acceptable, especially for someone who’s now demanding the following manager be sacked after 18 months.

Makes me wonder if going with popular option to maximise their own revenue is the priority with a lot of these bloggers but only they know the truth.

Bang on Clash. Arseblog is not a young Gooner he's middle aged and he defended the indefensible during Wenger's reign. Coincidentally he had some book / merchandise tie in with the club at the time and basically became an extra mouthpiece for Wiggy, the Lizard and Wenger. Now he's all about the board not doing its job? Complete fucking hypocrite. :censored:
