Fuck off dick, you're a prick
still angry with Emery's starting XI.

how can an intelligent man make such a blunder? elneny and guendouzi may have been forced on us but compounding it with 3 at the back and jenkinson as wing back was fucking mental and made a bad situation worse.

he rectified it at half time but it was obvious before kick off :?

as for Mustafi.... Jesus wept :cussing:

Unlike the last vadgebag we had in charge Emery has admitted he got the team selection wrong in his post match interview, something vadgebagwengerwhore would Never have done. Admit he was Wrong, so maybe just maybe Emery will not make that kind of mistake again. And who knows maybe some good can come from it that he will be aware ;as will some of the players of how angry the fans are not just at the needeless defeat but that we all want mustafi & eleneny Gone.

Emery will now have a clear picture of what he needs to do in the summer in regards to squad maintenance. Defeat to Palace has surely identified who he cannot rely on to benefit the team.
It does remind of Grahams first season in which he stuck with the experience and then just culled them. Emery will have to do the same but this season was more about stabilising a sinking ship, docking it safely for repairs and next season turn it around. We can still finish top 4 but we have made it significantly more difficult for ourselves. Unfortunately, that seems to be the Arsenal way over the last 12 years.
We've hopefully got 7 matches left to get us in the CL next season. He has to play our strongest team available (barring injuries and suspensions), it is that simple. Kinda hoping Welbeck will be fit enough to play some role in those games.

Shit result Sunday,Dick can take some stick for the team selection but fair play to Palace and their away form, they beat City away and should have won at Anfield

Hopefully his history with the europa league continues but whatever happens over the next few weeks I look forward to next season with Emery in charge

I'm still pissed off about Sunday and it will probably take me until after tonight's game to get over it. Apart from the obvious mistake in playing Mustafi, i still can't get over him starting El neny and Guendouzi. He had to have watched the Everton match back and known that they can't start again - yet a few weeks later, he thinks "why not". I understand he is unfortunate to have a shit squad to contend with, but why shoot himself in the foot like this. It was Emery himself who said that players should be able to play every few days yet at the business end of the season, he rests players. We may still get top 4 (or win the EL) but if we don't, it will be on him.

Yes that's true of course, squad overall is very poor and needs a total overhaul

But worrying when he comes out and says the second goal was not Mustafflaughs fault.......???

I think we will see most of the squad retained for next season, what choice has he got....who would buy them?

That would be my concern too - of course we will be able to shift them but at what price ? For starters they will need their remaining contracts paid up in full, but secondly the transfer fee's we receive will be so low that it will be impossible to buy replacements of sufficient quality, and we all know wiggy wont dip his hand in his pocket to make up the shortfall  :censored:

As we know most of these are on top wages, only a twat like Wenger with his socialist wage strategy would pay....how much is Mustafi on i wonder?

He really has a job on his hands. His bench is stock full of shite, he has overpaid players who don't put in an effort and a creaking backline. He gets it wrong sometimes with the line up (Palace), but then you'd think that the line-up (from available players) was as best as he could pick tonight, but they still get battered.

I know that it will be a large ask, but he needs to flog off quite a lot this year and I know that it has been pointed out already, but he may have too much to try to get rid of.

Here is a question and perhaps it should have it's own poll. If you could only get rid of three current first team players, who would they be? I think that is probably all we will see depart with the exception of the obvious ones - ie - Ospina, Jenkinson, Cech, possibly Chambers (who I would keep).
