2018-19 season! hopes and expectations

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Biggest hope?

Stan Kroenke in the ground feeding the worms.

The worms wouldn't gpo near his rotting corpse he is POISONOUS.

Bt yes, I too have the same hopes.

All his AFC shares would go to his son Josh, his cupboard full of wigs would go to Bould.

As to Hopes & Expectaions, I have hopes that we will gain some proper momentum and (hopefully) get in the top 4 - And maybe challenge for the league & FA Cups, and not be embarrassed by non-prem or lower table teams.

ALSO: NEVER EVER To Be Raped Again 8-2 or 6-0, 5-1 (& 5-1) etc etc like we were under wenger.

Can’t wait for it to start!
Priority for me is to see improvement tactically and in commitment from players, a few signings in the obvious areas and the dross out the door!
Top 4. decent cup runs and no humiliating 4 and 5 goal defeats.
If we can pick up a cup in the process then that would be a bonus! but would gladly settle for St Totteringhams day celebrations late April :barscarf:
Sid mate, our Club is in a tailspin, and the pilot is a wiggy yank, who has no interest in Arsenal other than it's use as a piggy bank for his Baseball team, and his oppulent lifestyle.
I predict a League finish somewhere between 5th and 10th place, no trophies, and mega profits and share returns for Kronke and his mates, who will continue to back a floundering manager who will be out of his depth, but backed by the board because they control him. :banghead:

Like to see results like:

City/United 0 Arsenal 0
Chelsea/Liverpool 0 Arsenal 1
Arsenal 2 Spurs 0 (not much of a stretch there)

Quite happy if he leaves without dying, don't care either way, too many people in the world as it is and he is not exactly a shining example of humanity, ok there are worse but he's on the wrong end of the scale for me, dead or alive I want him OUT.

I wish the manager the best of British, coz this rebuild will take a miracle...
They will impress for the first 6 games, then it will be back to basics, subject to what we buy and sell on our meagre budget of £50m....
