Arsenal Legends today

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Seaman, eboue, anelka, sol, parlour, pires, upson, Freddie (I think), cygan that's who I saw on a video clip. I only remember Ronaldo's name from the list of Real players.
Return leg in September at our place. Hopefully, Zidane will be available to play.

Saw Upson once at the zoo and his kid and a scum coat on

The highlights are now available on Arsenal Player. I'm gonna make a cuppa and have a watch of that. I saw a snippet yesterday of Winterburn barging someone off the ball and I'm sure there'll be some more giggles during the 90 mins.
It's all done for a very good cause I hope they raise lots of money.

I'll give the highlights a watch later then.

Though they have definitely used the term 'legends' loosely looking at the arsenal line up!

david o'leary managing too - will be interesting to see him on the touchlines in Arsenal gear - some posters still haven't forgiven him for his little lap of honour in 2000 :rubchin: :D
You called, m'Lord? :rubchin:

:D yes!

There are some legends there ... plus a few others that just used to play for Arsenal ... and a few others that should never have played for Arsenal in the first place, never mind representing us in a ''legends'' match

Would dearly love to see The Dennis come back for a few of these Legends games. 8)

Hell, I'd love to see him come back as a first team player, old and bald as he is! :D

Even now when I rewatch highlights of him I just find myself thinking "fucking hell how privileged were we to have him in our team". The man is a God. 8)

Wrighty also presenting a two part programme starting tonight at 10.00 on ch4 called “out of their skin” or something similar regarding black players, which I think will be worth a watch.

Nice. The full ‘players tribune’ article linked on the bbc site is a good read too
