FFS, the last fixture I would've wanted.

Tough start for Dick.

Welcome to the PL Dick. Here's a couple of soft ones to get you started

So much for the top 6 being kept apart on the opening day! There goes the Saturday 3pm kick off to the new season. I have a hunch we may end up on the telly on Sunday.

Two good results here would be a catalyst for the rest of the season.

Good to get them both out the way early doors to be fair.

Would be bricking it if we still had Le Fraud in charge but he's not here and we've got a proper manager now so onwards and upwards.

Also not really worried about Chelsea. They're looking a bigger mess than us at the moment.

On a positive note, we start with a new broom, so we should see a leetle more endeavour with tactics not tippy tippy..

one weird thing about the fixtures - league season ends on May 12th - the Champions League final is not until June 1 :rubchin:

That was the first thing I thought when I saw the fixture list. :D
On the plus side, the run in at the end of the season doesn't look too bad.

If we get a couple of reasonable results in the first two games, the next 8 are all winnable........on paper! If only we were an origami team!! :barscarf:

All joking aside, you just know that if the senile arrogant french cock was still in charge, the world cup players would have only been brought back in 10 days before the first game, with the manager preaching how important it is to give those players proper rest  :banghead:
