Lucas Torreira - Gooner

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Seen this doing the rounds on twitter, for his song:

"And then I saw his face,
Lucas Torreira!
Not a trace, a doubt in my mind
I'm in love, Lucas Torreira!"
Gay.
Very Gay!

Energy, drive, tackling, interceptions, positioning, tenacity, passing skills, technical ability and tough as old boots.

What a fucking player. Signing of the season?

Easily one of the best midfielders in the Premier League already.

Absolute gem of a player.

He was, but he ran out of petrol in the last 10. I'm not sure he's fit enough for the pace of today's game for 90 minutes.

We need him to work on his fitness and dozer, and get our injured defenders back before Liverpool.

Our best player.
Have to agree. He has delivered more per game than anyone. Bosses the midfield. Can pass. Master of the dark arts when it's needed. Calm in possession. Tough as nails. Takes no shit. Gives everything. And now getting on the goals. Fucking immense player. 8)

Since he has got his fitness up after coming off the bench for the first few games he has been one of our best players pretty much every game.

When you see us win the ball back - either a great interception to put us on the front foot or a ball-busting hassling of an opponent to win it away and rebuild - take a look and chances are it’s this guy.

Speaks volumes that he is making Xhaka look like a half decent player alongside him occasionally.
