Top 6 Bottom 3 2018/19

Postby Ernie71 » Wed Aug 08, 2018 8:12 am

Top 6

1.Man City Brilliant manager some brilliant players in the final third. KDB Silva and Aguero outstanding players.Still weak at CB(Stones Otamendi and Kompany) but they will always score more than their opponents

2. Liverpool. Liverpool's biggest fault has always been consistency. Great going forward but the weakness in defence and poor keepers have cost them. They have sorted out the keeper but Lovran is still there  If Salah can do what he did last season they can finish runners up

3. Spuds. Whether we like it or not the Spuds have a very good first 11.And an out and out goal machine in Kane. But once again it will be the lack of depth in their squad that will stop them reaching the top

4. Man Utd. Utd were shit last season but still finished above the media luvvies Liverpool and Spurs. Great keeper who is worth 15 points a season on his own.Time for Pogba to deliver?.And its the 3rd season for Mourinho and we know what happens in that 3rd season

5.Chelsea . What can you say about Chelsea?. New manager who likes attacking football. Their last two managers won the title in their first season  .Courtois off and if Hazard goes they are in big trouble.Upfront they are weak

6.Arsenal. New manager.Who knows whats going to happen?.The defence still looks weak.I worry about us if we play a back 4. Sad to see Mustafi Xhaka and Iwobi not booted out by Emery.

Bottom 3

Newcastle
Huddersfield
Cardiff

I don't think the scum will get third. They'll struggle to get top 4 and could be anywhere from 6th to 4th. Vertonghen, Trippier, Alderweireld, Fat Tongue, Stupid Eyebrows Alli, and Lloris were all regular starters up to the latter stages of the WC and missed most of their pre-season in order to try and recover. That lack of rest and recovery time will take its toll on physical and psychological strength and will result in injuries and/or loss of form.

There's every chance you are right Rob. But I think Klopp has been found out as the bog average "tactician" he is and that WC hangover for the scum's England boys hopefully will come home to bite them on the arse.

I feel we can finish ahead of both or at least one of them. :rubchin:
