other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Think that is now 47 defeats for the teams that finished in last season's top six with the exception of Liverpool. Most non competitive season ever.

Nicely laying rest to the SlySports myth of the quality of the PL and this victims* team being "one of the greatest ever" horseshit.

Wolves beating Everton 1-0, so if it remains that way we head into a North London derby with only 3 games left after it, unable to rise above 8th in the table this weekend. A real sign of the times. Lose and we'll be 9th with 3 games to play

I know there has been some brave talk about clubs like Liverpool, Man U and Chavski who have dropped outside the top six before, but lets face facts - we are owned by an utter c.unt who won't invest on anywhere near the scale of those clubs to ensure its just a one off

We need Europa League football. I don't mean for the finances involved as I couldn't give two fucks about that. We need to play in a competition that we have a chance of winning to retain a competitive edge to games throughout the season, and also allow the next wave of Martinelli's and Saka's to develop. Defeat today will make even Europa League football a very tall order indeed.

These things happen. Liverpool had nothing to play for, over 70% possession, 20-odd shots and Pope was man of the match. Not so sure it was a Dyche masterclass if that’s what you’re getting at

I'm sure if a foreign manager had managed it we'd be hearing about what tactical genius it was and lining him up with a 4 year contract at whichever big club needed their next fix!

Everton beaten 3-0 by Wolves and what i've seen of them lately they aren't great, so maybe we dodged a bullet with Ancellotti, not saying we are better with Arteta but after what happened at Napoli i wonder if he is getting past his best :rubchin:

And we sing songs about it too. Remember how we mocked the Mickeys for bleating on about history and we now sing songs about 49 undefeated and Sol Campbell doing the double

The BBC are thinking of a follow up to Life On Mars and Ashes to Ashes based inside the Emirates

Oh yes- the wonderful Leicester City and the genius manager that was so popular round these parts six months ago

Any of those Brenda fans now insisting we go out and get him?

The so called collapse under Emery looks like a blip compared to the almighty fuck up from these c.unts!! From nailed on second to not qualifying for the CL. Wenger would be proud of Brenda...

Jesus Christ mate can you tuck the persecution hysteria away for tonight for the love of fuck?

Seriously. How many around here wanted Brenda? Two? Three people max?

Emery was shit in the end. Arteta is speeding towards being just as shit. Dyche is shit and will be found out the second he gets the opportunity to step up to a big club. Emery wasn't the answer. Arteta ain't the answer. Dyche never will be the answer. File under Moyes and Fat Sam.

We need a big name with experience at the top level of the game dealing with big name players and egos and the pressure that only comes with managing a big club.

But more than any of that we need the vile wig molesting cùnt that owns us to FOAD.
