3 points yes but im struggling to see wtf Dick is trying to implement,we are right now looking no better and possibly worse than wengers Arsenal,a decent team would have smashed us with all the space we gave them, the defence is shambolic, why is xhaka still a first choice?,why is bellerin still Rb? why is Cech still in goal?why buy players when you aren't going to use them???? and no im not over reacting after just 3 games, after one game you could see what Klopp was trying to do with Liverpool but this is just a nonsense right now,we are rudderless, todays win was by luck not judgement

prediction : 3-1 home win.
:barscarf:

crucial win.

they are both lazy bastards but le bun man and miti were dangerous all day. their link up play was very good.

toilet defending for their goal, but nice moves for nacho and dannys goals.

sad to see dozer go off, but moving xhaka made sense. as soon as Torreira came on we started bossing them with quick passing and running.

laca had a good game, PEA wasn't bad but seems to have lost half a yard.

Rambo had a good game and was unlucky not to score.

we still sod around way too much with the tippy tappy around the box, so it was nice to see Rambo, PEA and Xhaka take one on.

i'm happy with that. we're a 6th place team going up not downwards.

UE looks absolutely terrified.

Hope he has figured out Iwobi by now.

Doesn't he watch vids from over 4/5 years ?

Agreed.

Team selection was baffling.

We appear to be trying to play with width, but with no wide players.

Xhaka and Miki were poor throughout. Bellend was not much better.
Ramsey's movement was better, but his weight of pass is appalling. When he wasn't giving Nacho hospital balls, he was putting it 20 yards in front of him. Gave the ball away too often.

Emery said PE and Laca wouldn't play together in his system, but we can't afford to have one of them on the bench and have Iwobi or Miki on the pitch.

With all due respect mate I thought Mickey Tarragon and the Welsh Messi-Lite were awful all game constantly losing possession and creating next to nothing.

i agree that they both lost possession too much, but they ran west hams left ragged all afternoon.

Shit goal to concede but after that we worked hard, put pressure on the shammers back four, won nearly everything in midfield and looked certain to score at least a couple. The second goal came at the right time, just as a bit of frustatration was starting to kick in but even though they could have nicked a point at the end, 3-1 seemed a fair result. Good to get off and running and good to see West Ham being the usual mess of a club.
