Definitely Cech. I think Xhaka is very unfairly judged and is a lot better than some people make out. Stick Torreira next to him, and I think we will see a world class player in him with the right partner in midfield

I have no words.

I fucking knew the magic mushrooms were back in season

Also sad that Mustafi doesn’t even feature in a head to head of biggest liability.
I'm as harsh a critic of Mustafi as anyone, but I reckon he's been one of our best players so far this season.
Has been better than much of last season or those two. That said it was embarrassing how easily his pants were pulled down by Morata for his goal and despite being ok on Sunday still managed to nearly let them in by dawdling in possession.

The only measure that Xhaka might be world class by is his ability to pick up needless yellow cards. 4 in 4 this season!

Absofuckinglutely.

Still you cannot beat a good old stupid yellow card in a nothing situation out on the halfway line. Stupidity rocks bruh.

Fair play to Cech and Xhaka, since the start of this thread they've stepped their games up.

In a strange way this might be a bad thing, while they are playing a bit better, they may have been replaced / dropped if they had not upped thier games and in the long term that might be better.

xhaka frustrates the hell out of me. terrier had to clean up after him all game.

They haven't. :D

Cech pulled off a few good saves yesterday but he still looks like a drugged bambi on ice with the ball at his feet.

Xhaka was goodish in places yesterday. But not a huge improvement tbh. He still has zero footballing intelligence or positional sense.

Been saying for a while now that Xhaka is under rated. Not world class by any means, but I'd still have him in the starting 11.
