Arsenal XI vs. Vorskla: Leno; Lichtsteiner, Holding, Sokratis, Monreal; Torreira, Elneny; Mkhitaryan, Iwobi, Welbeck; Aubameyang. #afc

Anyone else think he should play that back 5 in the league as well?
:high5:

Yup! And definitely Torreira in the mid-field, he changes the whole game whenever he comes on.

There will be commentary on the Arsenal website.
Or do what I am doing and go and watch it in a pub.

I got it free on by sports, tbf one of theirs should be booked for a naughty late tackle on torreira, you can bet your bottom dollar when we make a similar tackle it will be a yellow.

Very flat game at moment.

A lot of forward movement, but definitely lacking in the final ball at the moment :rubchin:

Yeah he scuffed it but that was the finish of an absolute predator. All about the placement, he has to play through the center - no more out on the wing bollocks please.

Is Iwobi being slowly deWengerised, this is more like the one we saw when he started getting first team football before it went all wrong :rubchin:

I’m hoping that’s the case with Xhaka too.
I see he has been rested tonight.
Obviously Emery rates him highly

100,000,000%. The bloke has done tonight basically what he did last season in a shit team. Been quite quiet, had half a sniff of goal and made a chance look easy that most strikers would have missed. He isn’t a ‘complete’ striker but he is a real predator and will score 25+ PL goals if he starts every game there.

Poor opposition but Iwobi looking like a bit of a different player.

Mkhitaryan looks like a really good playmaker against average opposition. Not convinced he is good enough to do it against good sides.
